This is an awesome hotel. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Especially the front desk and restaurant staff. My bed was so comfortable and the room and hotel were very clean. I always saw staff cleaning. My room was quiet and I slept well for once The restaurant food was excellent! The front desk accommodated us anytime we needed something. Will definitely stay here again, thanks for a wonderful experience

The property was lovely. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable. Our check in and check out experiences were handled efficiently and quickly, with friendly staff. Unfortunately, our breakfast room service meal was extremely disappointing. We weren’t expecting a fairly pricey room service breakfast to arrive in a bag with plastic utensils, but it did. The food and coffee were lukewarm, if that, and the plastic knife didn’t make a dent in the burnt toast served under my eggs. And we’ve never had toast before with no butter… just dried burnt toast.
I would return to the Hilton, but would stay far away from the room service menu. It put such a damper on our otherwise very nice visit.

The staff for the most part was great other than the manager Adam. He was horrible. We had 18 for dinner and he wouldn’t split checks. Came up and told us not going to happen. We said it can easily be done as some has two people and some 5 in the family. He said to bad, can’t do it. We said we can just leave and go elsewhere or would love to stay and eat and spend $900. He said have a good dinner. So we left like he basically wanted us to. Unreal. No people skills what so ever. The hostess at the restaurant was amazing and was shocked when we said we were leaving. She agreed he can be hard to deal with. He put his staff in a bad spot as they now weren’t getting the tips they should have.

This is a perfect place to stay if you have meetings in the Iowa Events Center--especially in the winter. You can walk everywhere indoors.
