Cozy Rest Motel

It was cozy and neat

The bed was extremely hard and stuff, very uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows were also not very good. Overall very clean space and updated.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. No frills basic hotel. Just what we needed. Vending machine was empty. Not that I wanted anything just noticed it getting ice.

Rough on the outside but outstanding on the inside.

The owner was pleasant and showed us to the room. He explained why he did not have a mini frige or microwave, and said not to bother with the phone. The toilet paper was very thin, and no tissues (I have to blow my nose a lot). We brought our own sheets, just in case, and our own coffee maker. I wish there had been grab bars for the shower and near the stool, but he did put us in a downstairs room after he met us. There were dirty smudges around the door frame that was unsightly, and no chair to sit on, which might explain the thin spots on the sheets. It was sweet that he pointed out the birds nest in the corner, and watching the swallows swarm the next morning was a treat, although there was a buildup of bird droppings on the fire extinguisher and ground. The room was not bad, the location convenient but on a busy street. (I'm used to traffic noise). The set up kind of cute/old school. Because I'm a senior a chair and grab bars near the stool would have been nice. The shower was lovely although it did take a bit of time to warm up. I liked the idea of the wall dispenser for the soap and shampoo, and there were two bottled water available. The other items are convenient, but not necessary. Bare bones accommodation, but the price was right and we slept well. Enjoyed the stay, but if you are high maintenance, you would be out of luck. It is what it is and it worked for us.

The units were clean and in good shape. Lots of lights. Good shower. The street outside was noisy with frequent motorcycles, but with the air conditioner on the noise didn't bother me.

This place was definitely cozy. It was clean and quiet. The room had a bit of a smell but once the AC was turned on it was fine.

The unit was well kept. It looked better inside than outside. I missed not having a microwave in the unit.
