Everything was great with this hotel, from the view to the service. The beach is very beautiful and clean. There are quite a few of beach boys on the beach waiting to sell things to you. However if you tell them politely you’re not interested, they’ll leave you alone.
It’s very close to Ukunda airport, only 10min drive.
One major thing this resort needs to improve is the foods. The foods are no where close to a 5 star resort standard. They’re normal than normal. Limited varieties. This was the most disappointing part. However because of the superb view and services, I was able to enjoy the trip! Will definitely go back and hope the foods are good by then.

The room is very good, and the buffet is also delicious. You can see the sea at the door,

We hebben 2wkn in Baobab gelogeerd en het was in een woord:onvergetelijk. Hotel is gelegen aan prachtige strand in alle gemaaken voorzien ,eten heel goed,gevarieerd,elke ochtend vers geperste sapjes en fruit.Ook de safari was fantastisch ( Tsavo East,Amboseli park ). Maar wat deze vakantie absoluut onvergetelijk geeft gemaakt was de gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van in Baobab (hard)werkende mensen,vooral het animatie team,die alles heeft gedaan om onze ( en ook andere gasten) verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Met name Jamal en Chesoli zullen we nooit vergeten.Beide ontzettend vriendelijk en altijd klaar om te helpen,praten of een spelletje te spelen. We hebben bijzonder genoten van een grote danstalent van Chesoli.Hij stond elke middag en avond ( avondshow) met de breide lach,zichtbaar genietend voor ons te dansen. We hebben het hotel aan alle onze vrienden aanbevolen en zelf zullen we onmiddellijk teruggaan alleen maar om naar de dansende Chesoli ( de hele animatie team!)te mogen bewonderen.☺️ Bedankt voor alles jongens! Tot de volgende keer.

Had a great family stay at the Baobab Resort! The staff is super friendly and helpful from beginning to end. Though the rooms really need renovations the resort experience makes up for the meh rooms. Carol was a super welcoming hostess loved her energy and how kind she was to us each time she saw as and greeted us with a smile. Anneluisa and Jackson at the drink bar were so helpful and made some really nice drinks for us with that great Kenyan hospitality! But Mr. Robinson was the best ever who made us feel at home, he went above and beyond to make sure enhance our experience especially taking into consideration the dishes we enjoyed and got us. A big thank you to Mr. Tani for keeping our monkey friends from stealing our lunch :-) This resort is a wonderful GEM and worth additional flight to Diani Beach! Last but not least please be sure to see Mr. Humphrey at the Bar as well, this man knows how to make drinks and is simply amazing, thank you for the recommendations Humphrey!! The property is spotless you never see any trash anywhere the staff work extremely hard! Keep up the excellent work Team Baobab!!!

The food is amazing. I love the staff they are always on hand . You can’t feel lost. Their lovely smiles and welcoming “Jambo” warms my heart. A shout out to Joyce. The swimming pools and bar AWESOME. Can’t wait till the renovations are finished. Yvonne

Overall we had a wonderful time. Great location. We stayed in Kolekole wing- I think it is the best option. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Great staff and service. Managers were always coming to check and say hello. Executive chef- Akhsay’s was great. Food was good. Beaches were clean. The only negative I have is what I call “ very basic all inclusive”. The drinks included were blah. Everything else was an upsell- ice cream, cheese and crackers as well as premium drinks. This may be ok compared to other Kenyan all inclusive places, but is subpar compared to other places like the Caribbean and Mexico. I think they need to bring up their standards.

Kole Kole rooms were very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and attentive Need more variety of food. Considering it’s an all inclusive resort. There were a lot of extra $$ for premium drinks , a la cart restaurants, ice cream, cheese and crackers. Infinity Poolside was beautiful. But need a side table by the Sun loungers. Jambo Club of entertainment very basic. Could improve on that. Beach very clean, scenic and beautiful.
