Beautiful palm trees and large gardens. The afternoon tea was a plus. The hotel grounds are huge with four pools that we were looking forward to use, but the main Bahari pool was not available and under maintenance, another two pools in Bustani area were close to rooms that were under construction so we didn’t swim in them. Our garden view room was much smaller than advertised on the website photos, and the double bed was very small. Unfortunately, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The air-conditioning was very good. However the bathroom was very small, with no space between the toilet and the shower area. There was a lingering seaweed and fishy smell each time the shower was used. Though the garden room balcony was quite pleasant, the view was obstructed by some old buildings that were unused. The hotel has had some renovations but many areas are still old and unusable. The main restaurant has many monkeys that enter in and out easily because of the roofing that is not covered fully. Unfortunately breakfast time was always interrupted by monkeys snatching food from tables. In the evenings the restaurant music has a loud bass sound that reaches even our room, which disrupted our relaxation on the balcony and our sleep. Regarding the beach area, it is beautiful but unfortunately beach vendors are allowed to come quite close to the sun loungers and umbrellas. Beach vendors are allowed to stand around and it disturbed the peace. They should be given a place to stand on the side so that guests who want their services or goods can go to them, but they shouldn’t be standing right in the middle and shouting or talking to guests who want to relax and enjoy the view.
