Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort

Même si un coup de peinture ferait du bien à cet hôtel, l'ensemble est quand même au top. Toutes les lodges sont climatisées , ce qui est plus appréciable après une semaine de safari. Les chambres sont faites chaque jour et le linge de lit changé. Au restaurant, le buffet est varié et on en trouve pour tout les goûts. Le personnel est vraiment souriant et disponible à toutes heures. L'équipe d'animation propose un spectacle différent chaque soir. Bref, notre séjour s'est super bien passé, d'autant plus que notre lodge était face à l'océan indien et que pouvoi prendre un verre face au coucher du soleil sur l'océan, c'est la cerise sur le gâteau.

Hotel mal entretenu. Quel dommage ! Beaucoup d'attente à notre arrivée car la réception ne retrouve pas notre réservation pour 3 nuits. (Nous sommes 9!) Deux des chambres ont une climatisation défectueuse mais ils ne proposent pas de changement. La plomberie est également défectueuse dans presque toutes nos chambres. Côté personnel, c'est tout ou rien...

Vue exceptionnelle, océan chaud (prévoir chaussons d'eau) ; piscine un peu petite. Bouteilles d'eau chaque jour dans les chambres, climatisation (ouf!) repas copieux et très abordables si 1/2 pension (moyenne de 15 euros/pers. boisson comprise). Prévoir espèces shillings car très demandeurs de "tips" partout en safari comme dans les hôtels, dans les Vans , pour les guides,...mais montant laissé à notre choix :-)

Très bel hotel, de belle architecture typique, dans un site fabuleux. Personnel très disponible et souriant. La plage est merveilleuse et un petit vent rend la température très agréable (attention aux coups de soleil : on ne se méfie pas ). Pour se rendre dans la ville de Monbasa, la route n'est pas très longue mais il faut prendre un bac et l'attente peut etre longue. Pourtant la visite de la vieille ville de Monbasa vaut le coup. L'hotel est à conseiller

Now it's like coming home, I used to smile at the tables of various hotels with regular guests, but today I know that you don't want to be anywhere else than here in this beautiful place, with your friends and family at the Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort in Kenya. Having arrived over the New Year for the first time, the celebrations were very impressive. The kitchen, led by Chef James, conjured up a number of delicacies and so the time flew by. Music on the beach, a new program from the animation team (more on that later) rounded off the special evening. Countdown, fireworks on the beach, and then the special honor of cutting the cake at the turn of the year. Asante Sana also contacted the management for this experience. Changing employees are rare at Jacaranda, which speaks for the personnel management. But this year the team in the restaurant has expanded and strengthened. I would particularly like to mention Grace, Marion, Esther and Happy. New faces who do a great job and who enjoy their work. Tip for a great evening: I can recommend that every guest ❤️ treat themselves to a special dinner, on the beach or in the complex, and let yourself be pampered with very good star cuisine. It costs a little extra, but it's worth every shilling and an experience. It's the little things that make you feel comfortable here as a guest. The animation team has also strengthened. Happiness and Ishmail support the animation crew. I found the new dances at the New Year's Eve gala very successful, especially the first song, and Big John formed a harmonious group around Juma, James, the two ladies and Armany. The water aerobics is getting better and better 😉👍😄😄. Kudos to the entire team, this is my second home and I always enjoy coming back to my family.
