Iberostar Selection Eolia Djerba

My first impression of the hotel was it’s not professional as they did not receive my booking even though it was fully paid before arrival. I had to resend the confirmation email for them to retrieve my booking. The hotel looked unlively. The room was nice with good view. However they need to upgrade the mattress. Breakfast was very basic without much choice. We enjoyed the sea and indoor pool though.

We used to come to Djerba but to another 4 stars hotel. We booked this hotel because our travel agent recommend it. We were first of all relocated to another 5 stars hotel as Eol hotel was not allowed to open by local authorities After 3 days we were authorized to go to Eolia ans we lost one day (no compensation for that or even an excuse). The experience was not at the level we expected and really far behind the other Iberostar in Djerba. The wifi was not good The food was very spicy the hotel is always under construction.

Upon arrival we were told that the Hotel wasn't open yet and we were to stay on another hotel for 3 days until it opened. The stay was nothing of what was expected. The first 3 days were subpar and when we finally moved to the Eolia on opening day, half of the hotel was still under renovations. We had to change room 2 times and ask to deep clean 3 times because of how dirty things were from renovations. Indoor pool closed. No activities for 2 days. Another outdoor pool closed. Beach bar and acess to beach under construction and noise all day from the works. It was a s##tshow. It might be a good or even great 4 star resort once finished but at the moment of writing Iberostar should never have sold bookings for this hotel in the current state it is. Its is completely unacceptable to be made a guinea pig for a hotel under renovations. Staff were super attentive and are not at fault on this, if anything I pity them for being put in such situation. Seriously questioning Iberostar as a hotel chain from now on, thanks to terrible management.

Ryma review I stayed at this newly renovated hotel on the island of Djerba, and it’s truly a hidden gem. The highlight for me was the direct access to a magnificent warm water beach—perfect for morning swims and sunset strolls. The pool was amazing, and the food was absolutely fantastic, with so many delicious options. The rooms were super spacious and comfy, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, adding to the overall peaceful vibe of the place. If you're looking for a relaxing escape, this spot is perfect!

We arrived this morning at the newly renovated Hotel Eolia and wanted to share our thoughts. We felt extremely welcome on arrival and cannot commend the staff enough for the level of service provided- all were extremely polite and friendly - a wonderful first impression. After we had checked in and unpacked, we received a courtesy call in our room from the reception desk. Such care and consideration from the staff at the start of our holiday really stood out. Our bedroom was not only immaculately presented and clean- but the attention to detail in terms of all the new fittings including the mattress, curtains and soft furnishings were truly five star quality. The Nespresso machine in the room was an added bonus, along with the Tunisian pastries and local fresh fruit. Another impressive point for us to mention is the quality of the food and drinks at the buffet restaurant. There was an excellent choice of fresh sea-fish (we ate Langoustine and Prawns) along with many other dishes. There was a wide choice of meat dishes, chicken, salads and cheeses. The waiters were extremely attentive and greeted us with a big smile. They took the time to walk us through the buffet, explaining to us what the dishes were, which we found was an added personal touch. There was also senior management staff walking around, happy to offer their services. We really enjoyed our delicious cocktails. We also wanted to comment about the grounds of the hotel - they are truly magical, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful flowers. The sea here is turquoise and the sand is so clean- A real Tunisian paradise. We are really impressed with our stay- the hotel is exquisite in every single way complimented too by the extremely friendly staff. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.
