Hard not to give 5 stars but checkout was botched by the doormen - I have special needs that were dealt with easily my last stay with different doormen. Moving on. I lost an item during the frantic checkout not getting access to a luggage cart and hand carrying all the bags out to the curb for our uber. The front desk communicated via the app and followed up with t phone call that let me know they were aware and looking for the items. I sent a picture of the Bose speaker and completed a lost item report. I didn't expect to see the speaker again but called the front desk directly and I was informed that they found my lost item. awesome. So, the property is a wonderful old school atrium design embassy suites right next to the beach sitting amongst very expensive homes that line the golf fairways. The buffet in the morning was very nice clean and it didn't have the same food everyday there was little variety cooked to order omelets and eggs and traditional buffet items quality food was very good and there's enough variety if you stay the whole week he wouldn't be bored with the breakfast the pools you must know about the pools mini cascading pools with the small Rock Island where they have iguanas as regular visitors to the island they do swim through the pool to the beach area and back we saw a small turtle in the pool obviously a regular the pool is very well kept not to say there's animals in it. the tourists seem to be like animals. The walk to the beach is just beyond the pool use your door key card to gain access to the beach your chairs out there and man made jetties respect the red flag warning for riptide other than that enjoy this beautiful beach area the rooms we're well kept and clean our room had a balcony which could see ocean partial view from each side which was wonderful .. front desk staff went above and beyond to help have a great stay encouraging me to go out of the there is without their assistance I would have just stayed in the room and had a much lesser vacation thanks you guys for your help and understanding and getting me both off the property to see other things and on the property to feel safe thanks embassy suites Dorado your staff all except the bellman/doorman/valet we're 100% supportive so we just worked around the few bad apples. I would recommend this property as this is my 3rd time staying here and make a point to wave to the other embassy suites san juan( as we drive by)which I still have an open issue with and claim for a lost item and the only thing I get is a phone call to my Colorado number but no real action compared to the Dorado team. How the lost item was treated between these hotels was not the same. SJ Embassy hotel presented me with their security manager who tried a few USB dongles but was never able to produce my specific lost charger and now I just have an incident with phone calls going back and forth wasting a lot of time I won't return to the other embassy suites in San Juan until that
