"We had a bad experience. We had to wait all afternoon for them to give us a code to access the room. A wasted vacation afternoon. And they were so calm. They didn't even worry about the delay or compensate us in any way. And the worst part is that we returned to the same hotel later and the same thing happened to us! We contacted them beforehand so it wouldn't happen again, and it happened again. Incredible! Again without a sorry or compensation. It's never happened to us before. Very little professionalism and respect for customers. We're not the only ones this has happened to. They only work with email and don't handle it properly. It's a shame because this treatment ruins their business, since the place and facilities are very nice. The room is well decorated, modern, and has all the amenities. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price-performance ratio is not good. The price is high."

"We’ve been to this resort multiple times bc my family loves it. The rooms are spacious, and the property is well taken care of. The one challenge is that the service is inconsistent. 1) housekeeping isn’t consistent. (no handtowels, no wash cloths, had to call for turn down service after 9p, sometimes 2 waters and sometimes 4). 2) we have had to wait over 15 minutes for a golf cart, and that was only after I chased down the attendant because there was no one at the porte cochere in the middle of the day 3) despite charging an arm and a leg for any kind of food ($12 for a cup of coffee!) I received the wrong order and the food hasn’t always been hot. Don’t get me wrong, these are all champagne problems. The issue is that for the price of the hotel is charging, these service issues shouldn’t be happening. This is truly a lovely and special hotel and worth a visit. Please know though, that the service will be inconsistent."

"This place is beyond luxe and we loved every second of our stay. We originally only planned one night b/c of the cost, but we're so glad we added a second night. The restaurants, service and rooms are just as good as they come and we were so sad to leave. We did not use our embajador for much at all and felt a little awkward about that, but everyone was SO friendly and helpful."
