The Manor House is a lovely hotel where I would definitely go again. It is well situated for sightseeing in southern Dorset. We had a very nice room with a sea view which was spacious and very comfortable. The service at the meals was at just the right pace and we were well looked after. Particular thanks to Lucas who was very helpful in trying to understand my wife’s difficult dietary requirements, and who also promised to post back knitting needles that my wife had left behind. The hotel was a very enjoyable experience and perfect for two night breah.

Welcoming, really loved that there was a fridge in hallway for fresh milk and bottle water. Did find dead flies or moths on the roll up blind and a tooth retainer on the floor.
But had a lovely time, very cute and relaxing .

Lovely stay. The room was clean but a little tired, nice sea view and you could hear the sea with the window open. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The food at the hotel was excellent, we ate there for three nights!. Breakfast is very good too. Very convenient for walks and Chesil Beach. You could stay there and not use your car.

What a gem of a hotel. An amazing location with stunning views of Chesil beach which was only 5 minutes down the hill. A lovely friendly welcome from Millie and Lucas who could not have done for use during our 3 night stay. The food was first class a fantastic array of local produce cooked to perfection and a great choice of cocktails. Spacious clean and well equipped bedrooms which was followed throughout the hotel. A truly wonderful find and can’t wait until our next visit Thank you to Millie Lucas Izzy Kathy and all the other staff we didn’t meet.

We spent three nights here. What a find! Chosen partly for the views and outside space, which didn’t disappoint. (Blessed with dry weather). Milly and the team were all great. Professional, courteous and attentive. We dined in every night, as the food was delicious. Probably the best Moules I have ever had (and I’ve had a few!) and the Pork Tomahawk steak was delicious. We loved the charm of the building itself, lots of character. A great spot to explore the local area, away from the hustle of the busier main roads.
