Comfort Inn Airport Dorval

The stay was a disappointment. They provided me with a bed and breakfast which was fine, but the room was incredibly hot. I went to the front desk who came to check on it after about an hour. Admittedly they were busy. He said the AC wasn't plugged in. He tinkered with it, plugged it in, and said it should work. It actually got a bit warmer. I took a photo of the thermostat at night and again in the morning - still unchanged at 25C. I like it warm but this was really pushing it. I spoke with a lovely woman at the front desk who explained they have new systems and not all the staff know how to use them. I inquired about a partial reimbursement and she said I have to work with Trip.com. I reached out to Trip.com who contacted management. The manager first said I didn't talk to staff (I was able to provide full descriptions). Then he/she questioned my ability to work a thermostat. With the 3rd attempt, he said it was working and it was user error. I don't dispute it could work given the explanation by the woman at the front desk, but they couldn't make it work for me and the room was uncomfortable. Because of the manager's dismissive stance to a reasonable concern, I would recommend caution when booking this property.

Cleanliness was on point, room was very comfortable and nicely furnished, staff was very helpful and friendly.

It was too expensive for what you got. Relatively close to the airport but too far to walk with luggage, no public transport or shuttle so you have to pay around 25 CAD on top for a 4 minute uber ride. Breakfast ok, but besides eggs only sweet things. No cheese, vegetable spreads or fresh veggies. Only toast as bread. Clean and good accommodation in general though. But too expensive.

This hotel was excellent . The rooms where clean , quiet , looked recently redecorated . The staff were all pleasant and very helpful . It is very close to airport . The hot breakfast was good and well stocked. Coffee is available at all times . The only downfall was only one eating place nearby . The hotel has a great selection of snacks and frozen meals if needed for something easy and quick . The bus stop right out front gets you into downtown Montreal . The staff were so helpful in instructions using bus and metro and even wrote out all the instructions in detail . Would highly recommend if needing a great place to stay close to airport .

I really liked this place for my short stay. Really clean and well maintained. The lady at the front desk is very lovely and I would recommend if you don’t want to pay for a fancy place but you need a clean place to stay with reasonable price

The AC didn’t work but they were quick to give us an alternate room all be it a long walk for a senior.
