We visit Omaha several times yearly and have stayed at multiple properties throughout the metro area. This was our first time staying at this property. Initially, as we pulled into the parking lot we thought we had made a mistake. Several large shipping containers and construction equipment and materials in the parking lot made it difficult to navigate around and find an open spot. Evidently, a major renovation is occurring, which I understand needs to happen. As we walked in there was a very upset guest who, by her own explanation had made a significant reservation error through a third-party booking site. The front desk representative was handling it professionally and with a positive and pleasant attitude. I was quite impressed because I don't think I would have been as patient as she was. When we got to her the front desk representative was wonderful, friendly, and delightful. We were in and out for a good part of the evening as we were running errands and going out to dinner. Every time we encountered her she was cheerful and positive. We finally came in late in the evening and the night staff was equally friendly and engaging. The next morning the front desk clerk greeted us with an exuberant, energetic ”good morning” and a genuine smile. As we ate breakfast (not the best IHG breakfast) I observed how he interacted with all the guests and it was textbook hospitality. I really want to communicate with management and the owner that your staff is all absolutely wonderful. They all seem to be not just professionally polite, but genuinely happy to be on duty at this hotel. Despite the obstacle course of a parking lot and construction equipment lining the entrance, we enjoyed this property more than all of the other stays around the city. We will be back in Omaha again this year and will definitely choose this location for our next stay. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. This was a very nice stay. The Resudence Inn was in close proximity to the school as well as centrally located. There were options for parking. $15 for hotel parking, up to $10 to park at the next door parking structure, and free street parking from 9pm-9am. We ended up parking on the street all four nights because we were always out until then, and we always were able to find a space nearby. We had a room with a king size bed and sofa, and we utilized both. It was really nice having a full-size refrigerator to store our water and fresh fruit, including a watermelon. The place felt clean. There was a substantial breakfast provided every morning, but it was pretty much the same every day—cereal, waffles, bagels, eggs, meat, breakfast burrito. Can’t really be picky when it’s free! There is a nice breakfast area. We would surely stay here again when we are in Omaha!

I realize that businesses are slowly reopening, but cleaning hotel rooms, and keeping up with maintenance should not be neglected. The bathroom was FULL of hair, everywhere. We wanted tub, because my wife prefers baths. We were never told that the only rooms with a tub are handicap-accessible rooms. The handicap bench makes using the tub pretty much impossible, as the bottom hinges of the bench protrude into the tub area. The tub, itself, is VERY slippery when wet. Probably not the best for a handicapped room. The drain plug did not keep water from draining (perhaps from more hair?) While showering, and with the drain open, the water still collected in the tub. The rest of the room was acceptable, but the appearance made it seem as though it was on the tail end of some repairs. Those should be 100% completed before using the room. The handle, and front of the bedside table was disgustingly sticky. There are absolutely no USB ports in the room. The TV, ”guide”, never, ever worked. There are several security issues around the hotel, mainly broken doors.

This is a nice clean hotel. The rooms offer a full fridge, microwave dishwasher, and stovetop. Very spacious! Seating room and bedroom area. Breakfast had hot food, fruit, and juices. The staff was helpful and polite. The pool was nice. Did have a lot of kids but that was ok. Great stay

My husband and I stayed here just recently and we reported our room unclean and nothing was done about it, in fact, the housekeeper that came by to witness the room while we were still in the room lied about it by saying it wasn't dirty to a manager because she was obviously sticking up for her staff. We could not take a shower as the bathtub was dirty with long dark hair in the bottom of it. The furniture was dusty and carpet wasn't vacuumed. Also, the inside of the window sills were filthy and lastly we found some black stuff under our sheets in both beds. This is unacceptable and needs to be resolved. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and haven't had this issue before and we would never lie about it. Before we left we were told a manager would look at the room before they cleaned it and we found out the one in housekeeping looked at it again and lied to the manager again and the so called manager didn't bother inspecting the room. Terrible customer service here!

This was the dirtiest room I have ever been in.. Carpet was stained and smelly, couch was stained and pullout was full of crumbs and food. upsatir bath drawers were dirty with beard shavings, sink was clogged.. Drapes had dirt and cob webs all across the top. many broken items, the coffee pot, shelf fridge, light above sink, foot stool. We checked out and went to another hotel early next day.. would have checked out night before but it was too late to go anywhere else..

Was in town for a meeting and being with Bonvoy thought I would give this location a try since it was close to the office. Nice staff at the front desk but has to be one of the smallest lobby areas and reception desk in the entire chain. The woman working there made the comment that she wished it was bigger for a working area. The rooms are what you expect at a TownePlace and everything was great. What I was suprised by was the so called breakfast. One day it was some rubber fried eggs, a paper bowl of salsa with plastic spoon to service it with, cereal and yogurt. This was better than the second morning when I thought I would go grab a yogurt but they didn't have any. All that was there was a dish full of heated up Jimmy Dean sausage biscuit sandwiches. No fruit, no juice (the machine was broken) and no yogurt. I would still stay here again because the property is great but they need to do something about the breakfast service to be on par with other TownePlace Suites I have stayed in.

This hotel is strategically located, convenient transportation, and it is just off the highway. Check-in is a bit slow, but the front desk staff is quite polite. The room is not small and clean. The price is high.
