Location is perfect, 10 minutes walk from the sightseeing part of Dresden. Easy access to public transport. The hotel is sort of unique, a nice sports bar with a street view terrace.

One of our favourite hotels we’ve ever visited. We loved the style of the hotel and the incredibly friendly reception, who provided us with an amazing suite for the duration of our stay! 10/10 would recommend for anyone considering a stay in Dresden. While it is not completely central, it is well connected with the tram and Dresden Mitte nearby and only a 10 minute walk to the Altstadt.

Nice hotel close to the city center with a good breakfast. If you like Penck's artwork, this is definitely the place for you!

Clean hotel in a good, central location with unusual artistic furnishings and all-round mirrors in the bathroom that take some getting used to.

The Hotel PENCK is a very nice hotel. The style is strange, but I still enjoyed it. When it came to service, everything was pico bello, and the breakfast was also very good. The bed was very comfortable. The cupboard is hidden behind the table. I was missing a large mirror in the room and also a small refrigerator. Otherwise everything was fine.

The room lights are too dim, but everything else is okay.

Der Service war sehr gut sie waren sehr höflich und haben uns auch hilfe angeboten. Die Ausstattung war auch gut das Bett war bequem und ein Fernsehen hatten sie auch das Badezimmer war auch sehr schön ein gerichtet und ordentlich war es auch einbuchen konnte man gott sei dank auch Abend bei den späten Stunden und es ist nah gelegen an einem Bahnhof also leicht hinzukommen.

A very nice, modern hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the room adequately spacious. There was an odd window between the bedroom and bathroom. The hotel was busy with conference-goers. We had the bar nearly to ourselves until the afternoon session got out, after which the bartenders were overwhelmed with orders from the adjoining dining area. Up until then, we had great, friendly service. The breakfast buffet had much variety and was very plentiful. Coffee was good. Again, the area was very crowded with conference-goers. The hotel is in a good location for walking to some historic sites and is very close to a stop for the hop on/off tour bus. Front desk staff was quite helpful with directions and recommendations.

Staff was good. Location is excellent ( 5 minute walk to the old town). Bathroom was weird...like really weird. Sink was more like a baptismal font...but it worked. Room was a bit warm but very clean. Breakfast was varied and good as well.

This hotel is very modern and clean. Nice rooms. Great staff. Would have given 5 stars. But there is an issue In the washrooms. There is NO place where you can put your shower gels in the shower. Excepted the bottom floor of the shower itself. As you can see in the photos this is a huge issue for elder people and a possible hazard. Seniors can not bend so far down to pick up the shampoo or shower gel once they are in the shower. And there is no alternative to put them somewhere else. It’s a big risk for falling when you have to bend down so much. The hotel must install small shelves in the shower, so people actually can place the shampoo etc on it. This is critical.

Very dirty rooms! Especially the floor in the room and bathroom! A dark piece of clothing that fell on the floor was completely dirty. Service at the bar was unfriendly - insufficient space in the breakfast room, the adjoining room was stuffy
