Hotels near St. Markuskirche in Dresden

Noting to complain about it. It was a great stay. Very friendly and attentive staff. We arrived a bit early and was checked in right away without charge fee unlike Intercityhotel Berlin Central Station. Public transportation ticket was given out by the lady at front desk. So we saved a lot on transportation fee. Located couple minute walk from Dresden Central Station. PragerStrasse near by. Definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel.

10 minutes walk from Dresden Hauptbanhof and 15 minutes walk to Neumarktplatz. Big shopping mall next door and PragerStrasse has all kinds of shops and restaurants. All in all a great location. Our room was an unusual layout with a large foyer and even larger bedroom but with sp**** furniture. We liked it as we had plenty of room to spread out. All the staff we met were smiling and helpful.

Wir suchten ein Hotel mit Wellness. Der Empfang war in Ordnung. Anfangs mußten wir feststellen, das Wellness und Frühstück extra berechnet werden. Unterschiede gibt es zwischen Radisson Blu Park Hotel und Cityhotel. Bei der Buchung fanden wir keine Möglichkeit im Hotel anzurufen um näheres zu erfahren. Auf den Zimmern waren wir dann etwas ernüchtert. Die Zimmer wirkten altbacken und ungepflegt. Die Betten knarrten, die Tische und Bords wiesen reichlich Wasserflecken auf. Die Sofas sind durchgesessen und inzwischen unbequem. Die Zahnputzbecher waren nicht ordentlich gereinigt. Das Frühstücksangebot war vielfältig. Die KellnerInnen sehr freundlich und bemüht uns das Frühstück angenehm zu machen. Danke dafür. Der Wellnessbereich gefiel uns gut und war sauber. Zwei mal konnten wir nicht ins Hamam (Sauna), weil Einzelbehandlungen stattfanden. Kurzfristige Massage konnten wir nicht buchen. Wie gesagt, wir wollten Wellness.

My hotel room was HUGE. This was a phenomenal surprise, especially given the location. The Hotel is around the corner from a ton of excellent restaurants, and only a short short walk from the city center were one can find beautiful outdoor terraces with wonderful views of the city. Once construction in the market in front of the hotel is finished, I'm sure there will also be another excellent view on the doorstep. I will happily stay here again next time I need to be in Dresden.

The information is a bit misleading, the hotel is quite agood bit out of the town centre. Probably a 25 minute walking quickly. We, both 80+, needed a taxi to get to the start of the hopon-hopoff bus terminus. We only discovered when we arrived that the resuarant was not open due to alterations. Fortunately the very helpful receptionist ordered us a takeaway pizza and sugested we relax with a beer until it came. She was the first of a succesion of charming staff we dwelt with. Our room had good hanging and shaelf space but somehow did not strike one as being well designed. The bathroom on the other hand was. There is no fridge but has tea/coffee and kettle. We had a blocked basin, a handyman arrived very promptly and cleared it. There is a marvelous backery and coffee shop across the road in the Rowe Building, and a small supermarket. For a great evening meal and a wonderful view ask the hotel to book you a table at one of the restuarants in the Yenidz. The old cigatte factory almost next door.

We booked ”only” night as our son studied in DD and we met with him for food and breakfast. Equipment for our cleanness was completely i.O.

We spent seven nights in Dorint Dresden for a private stay in Dresden. A major advantage of this hotel is its traffic-friendly location: the old town with its attractions is in a footing distance, the tram driving in Dresden at close distances holds almost outside the door. The hotel itself is not new, but the public areas make a well-treated impression and our standard room to the indoor courtyard on the second floor was clean, spacious and very quiet. The room design is originated from another time, which has not disturbed us, but modernisation should necessarily be accompanied by additional sticks. The service in the house was professional, the staff were friendly and accessible to the guests' concerns at any time. The breakfast offer was in line with the ”international standard” for a hotel of this category, the fresh egg food and the associated supplements were much better than in many other hotels. Critically, the great offer of sauce and bakery products in Dresden and the surroundings was only extremely limited - backbrushes, cutting etc. were acceptable standard products as they exist everywhere, But with which you don't even get off. Damn. The high prices in the deep garage (17 Euros per day) criticized in other reviews can easily be handled with a 10 Euro cheaper parking behind the hotel. However, this price policy is incomprehensible. On the house policy of non-cleaning of rooms for sustainability reasons, note: The daily cleaning of rooms can be logged in at check-in - you are explicitly asked by the receptionist - that then works without any mistake. It is only strange that Dorint does not give incentives to refrain from cleaning - targeting a bad consciousness is rather contraproductive. Finally, the daily opening of the bar in a well-booked hotel should be obvious. The bar staff makes a great job. Overall, Dorint Dresden is very recommendable for a short stay, even if there and there is still ”air up”. We would come back.

A much better location of a hotel is hardly imaginable. Whoever stands in historical old towns is right there, because he is in the middle, right in the center. The breakfast booked is stored in the Italian restaurant next to it, but it does not stop all, since you have direct access from the hotel. The breakfast itself is very rich and for everyone certainly what it is. We booked the hotel for a night after a concert visit, which went until 22:30. At this time, it seems impossible to have a free seat in the many existing gastronomic facilities around the old market, because everything is occupied. I would have liked to have a sack in the hotel, but it is unfortunately impossible. But whoever doesn't necessarily make it on it, I can only recommend this hotel. What is also something sporty is when you travel with your own vehicle, the park search. But also there you will be helped at the reception, there are recommendations for parks nearby, where free capacity is also checked in the front desk.
