For the first time I encountered the fact that when booking on Trip.com it gives one price, but when you start booking it gives you another one that is 16-17% higher. The hotel itself takes a very long time to be occupied, everything looks old and shabby. It's not very comfortable. The room is very cold, the air conditioning was turned off immediately, but even in the morning it was still very cold, the breakfasts were very weak and there was constant confusion.

Really basic amenities across all over, room, restaurant, etc.
Definitely needs freshening up.
Also, they should mention they serve no alcohol at all at the property, not even at the restaurant, as it is a "dry hotel".

Finding a very good hotel in a central location for tourists from the sheer endless choice in Dubai is no longer a problem: take a look at this gem and book it, we were absolutely delighted! The price for very nice rooms and suites is more than reasonable (and rather positively surprising). Very well located, right in the middle and only 5 minutes walk from the Business Bay metro station, just a few floors in an architecturally beautiful building; there are no long queues at the elevators like in other hotels. The exceptionally good breakfast is served in the covered courtyard, which alone makes the start of the day pleasant and enjoyable. The extremely helpful and friendly staff do everything to make the guest feel comfortable, wishes are happily and immediately fulfilled (Joselito Agunos and his team are a prime example of hospitality). We felt completely at home and would definitely go back to the Villa Rotana.

Total disaster! I reserved a room at the hotel, and on the same day I left!!!!! it is not clean, almost everything they have on the menu is not available, I also received a warning that at night at 10 o'clock there will be work, these must be done during the day and not at night!! and everyone who, when I called especially at the restaurant, they are not professionally trained, they don't know what food they have on the menu, they don't know anything! 0!!!!!!! The staff at the Villa Rotana were lovely, very friendly and answered all our questions. We arrived at the hotel 6 hours before our check in time and the staff managed to get the room ready for us so we could rest. The hotel was clean and very well maintained. I would definitely recommend the Villa Rotana to family and friends and I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Excellent hotel (Rotana is always a guarantee), located in a strategic position halfway between old Dubai and Dubai Marina, a few meters from the Business Bay metro station. Very clean and organised, excellent breakfast, swimming pool and gym available on the top floor open until late, what can I say, recommended

Like many people, we got stranded in Dubai n the night of the huge storms which brought the city to its knees. Luckily for us, we found the Rotana after escaping from the nearby metro train station. We took the last room but the staff allowed other people to seek refuge overnight, a truly humanitarian act of kindness. Our room was a little tired and outdated but everything worked and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We would like to single out Anne and Supun on the reception desk for being wonderful human beings. They are a true credit to their employers. They couldn’t leave the hotel, stayed overnight and still had a sense of humour the following morning. Supun: thanks to you, we got home. You are a hero!
