Garden City Hotel Dubai

The distance between the subway station and the accommodation is a 15-minute walk, so it's a bit far. (15 minutes is really big because the temperature is high in Dubai) However, other than that, this accommodation has no flaws at all. If I go to Dubai again, I would like to stay here again.

I have never seen a worse hotel in my life. We have been in Dubai for more than a month, we lived in several hotels in Deira. When we arrived at the hotel, we were really pleasant we were surprised by the lobby where the reception is located, considering the location, that’s all 1. the elevator constantly stinks of sewage 2. the rooms are very dirty, the renovations and furniture are relatively new and at first glance everything looks good, but when you start to look closely: everything is stained with the fingers of the previous ones. guests and employees, apparently, an extremely dirty floor, it didn’t seem to have been washed at all (I’ll attach a photo with slippers after walking only in the room and a foot towel that was lying on the floor in the bathroom), disgustingly dirty windows, curtains - white tulle gray-yellow in color, all stained (photo) In general, everything in the room is scary to touch. The bed linen is not pleasant, the pillows and blanket smell of some kind of chemical, very uncomfortable. The shower head is broken, it was not replaced, but they just left only a tropical shower - extremely inconvenient 3. Cleaning is a separate issue, not only was the cleaning very bad. Never! They didn’t leave water, we always had to ask them to bring it. We saw the tea and coffee set once, on the first day, we drank tea and coffee, the employees did not report anything else. In addition, when they asked the employees for something (water, tea), they had to wait for an hour or more. 4. No noise isolation! The cheapest window frames, which absolutely do not protect from external noise - the balcony is either closed or open. The place in the area is not the quietest, late in the evening life begins there - the locals talk very loudly, shout, listen to music in the parking lot, planes take off (this was the least of the disturbances), a house nearby is being demolished, the sound is appropriate, it makes such a terrible noise in the room. The door also does not protect from noise, everything that happens in the common corridor can be heard in room 5. I did not like breakfast. During the week of my stay, I only ate boiled eggs and toast with jam; I didn’t even want to look at the rest. But food is, nevertheless, not for everyone. In my opinion the breakfast is poor. The only plus is the employee who served breakfast, probably the only one who really does his job well. There was an epic failure when our foot towel, dirty from the floor, was neatly folded in front of the bathroom instead of being changed. A day later, they threw another dirty towel on our sink and left an old dirty sponge that they used to wash, apparently the plumbing fixtures. I’m sure I forgot something, because I’ve never seen “-” in one hotel. I'm surprised that there really isn't a single plus. I re-read the reviews and don’t understand whether it’s fake, or people don’t have eyes, sorry. The girl at the reception really asked you not to put "1", if you could put -10, those would be your points.
