Movenpick Bur Dubai was super great - their front desk were super friendly, concierge was super helpful (shoutout to Kamal - the welcome he gave me when I first arrived was nice, and he was super helpful in the tips he gave me regarding my travels) and the room was super large! The bed and the pillows were sublime, the bathroom was clean, bright and the bathtub was a nice touch. Also loved the general grand yet cosy vibe of the hotel - really felt like I was coming back home after a long day of traveling in Dubai. I would definitely return here for a stay! P.S. there's an attached Starbucks in the hotel, so that helps if you need a quick caffeine boost or snack! A tip for potential improvement - the gym was located obscurely and I couldn't find my way around well enough without asking around. Better signage to the gym could have helped!

I find this hotel neat and clean. All repairs are done on time and facilities are shining. But what I value the most is Customer Support. All the hotel staff has exceptional high standards to treat visitors (in the restaurant, reception, any other person in the hotel). Thanks to Mr Bikash Tharu for always keeping my room cozy and bringing homely vibes.

Hotel is nice and clean. Room was nice and tidy. Location is a bit remote especially if you're not driving or using taxis but that's a personal opinion based on personal needs. Staff's good, i personally had a good experience but i gave an average score as i think they can do a better job being a bit more welcoming when someone walks to the hotel reception and criticising customers in front of other customers even if they are unreasonable and not polite (as the one i've encountered). Just etiquette of a client facing role.

I just would like to thank that hotel for their trustworthy staff that I have left my Rolex watch for about two weeks and forgot about it then i called and GUESS WHAT? They had it safe for me so i asked my friend to grab it for me! Thanks a lot.. but just a little minus points for the waiting to check in and taking too long to get my luggage upstairs

I had an amazing one night stay at the QE2 - as a Brit now living in Austrália the QE2 has a special place in my heart - never as a Cunard ship could I have afforded travelling to New York - now I could and the ship is sparkling - the renovation is fantastic throwing you back to the heyday of her life - the service was fantastic the food and drink authentic and worth the stay! The Gevora Hotel was a sight to behold. Being at the tallest hotel in the world was surreal. The only issue is that if you are at the one of the topmost floors, you have to wait several minutes for the elevator since only 2 are servicing 42nd to 71st, I guess, and the elevators are kinda tiny for a hotel that size. However, the views in the room makes up for it.

Great value economic hotel, very spacious, busy elevators like any vertical lodging. Also had an issue with the fire alarm staff should be trained to be more polite. The iron triggered the alarm, the staff showed up looking for penalty tribue, they were so fixated on the idea that I was smoking despite being a non-smoker, it was very dismissive and outright rude, I actually had a hard time thumbing them put of my suite! Still the place is good, as long as the staff learn that extracting penalty fees from guests shouldn't become the priority, once they are educated, they were not be desperate to invade rooms and pretend to be professional investigators They front desk did apologize for the poor training and promised it will never ever happen again. So based on that I must leave a 5/5 review as the hotel was nice when that incident is isolated.
