Very good, the price is affordable. If you need to book for a few more days, it’s best to book in advance, because the price is different every day due to exchange rate issues.
Facilities: quite reasonable

Our room smell like smoke. When we asked about it, ee were told it was the cleaning staff smocking in the smoking area outside... Below our windows.
The beds were not comfortable either.

The beds are poor and old..they make noise always you try to turn or change positions.tv doesnt have remote you end up watching one channel till morning.

This is an absentee review. We often have to travel from Donegal to Dublin usually for medical reasons and we usually stay over at Clifden. Its well situated, reasonably priced, spotlessly clean and the staff are always lovely. This time the reason was not medical but business. We were scheduled to go tonight but both of us woke up with chest infections and had to go see our GP. I e-mailed Clifden Guesthouse explaining that we will not make it and to please cancel the booking. I acknowledged that i am not entitled to a refund. HOWEVER - they wrote back that they will keep the amount i paid available as a credit against a future visit within 60 days! THATS SERVICE!!! i never expected that. Thanks to all at Clifden.

lovely place to stay.friendly staff.room were nice and beds were comfortable.safe parking.they also let us leave our car there on morn of check out while we took a stroll round town.great location.not far of a walk from shops,bars and restaurants

Since we always have to go to Dublin to attend appointments at Temple Street hospital this is the most convenient place to stay. They have a parking space which is incredible useful since we leave our car there and then we just walk to hospital or city centre. The rooms are clean and the staff are nice. Just in the corner you can have a nice breakfast at Kofee and Kale. Perhaps you could make an arrangement and offer a discount for people staying at Cliffden House.
