Facilities: Renovated from an old building, there is no elevator and the internal structure is relatively complicated. We were arranged in 5XX, but it was actually on the 3rd floor. We walked through the 5th floor, through doors, and the strange structure of winding around. And each floor of the stairs is very high, very tiring, as if climbing to the 10th floor! The decoration is a bit old, but we try our best to maintain the original classical characteristics of the old building. We have made a lot of efforts in decoration, laying red carpets and hanging many oil paintings, especially in the lobby and restaurant. The front desk is very simple and old-fashioned, which is very interesting and decorated with a strong Chris**as a**osphere. The room is a bit simple, the facilities are relatively old, especially the bathroom, as if we came to a guesthouse, the door card is not very sensitive, and it seems that there is no air conditioning. Hygiene: So-so, barely pass. Environment: Located in Dublin 2, District 2 is on the south side of the river. It is a relatively safe area and very convenient. You can walk to major attractions, the riverside and shopping centers in Dublin. St Steven’s and a well-known museum are less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and there is also a light rail station next to it. The bus needs to cross a graffiti-covered street to get to another main street, which seems to be much less safe. The style is a bit like Camden Town in London, where supermarkets and restaurants are also located. Service: The staff is very enthusiastic, especially the staff in charge of breakfast, who made us feel very welcome and taken care of.

Very good location, next to St. Stephen Green, but relatively quiet. Luas tram is right at the doorstep, the room is tall and the breakfast is rich. I would choose it!

Good location and able to do a little walk to most of the attractions in the city. The hotel room is spacious, and most importantly is very clean. Stayed two nights, the first night was a bit noisy from outside due to the pub nearby but acceptable. While the second night was quiet.

The location is great. The shopping street Grafton street was 5 minutes away on foot. Lidl was about 10 minutes away. We were there 2 hours early for check-in and we were given another room as an alternative so that we didn't have to wait. The breakfast for €5 per person was good value and good. The room and bathroom were clean.

Excellent hotel, breakfast, location and friendly staff. We stayed here 3 nights and have been very pleased. Right on the streetcar line and conveniently located near grocery store, 5 minute walk to pubs and restaurants. Beautiful Georgian interiors with tall ornate ceilings. Highly recommend.

Beautiful old hotel. Great location. Very nice staff. First red flag when Dublin resident/cab driver mentioned we were lucky to check in on a Sunday night as the clubs on Harcourt Street and the next street over (open until 6:00am) were the noisiest in Dublin. As it turns out, they're bustling every night of the week. We stayed on the 4th floor and tried to block noise by closing windows, but with no air conditioning (old bldg.) it was stifling. We listened to the party down below in the street until about 5:00am, then the loud garbage trucks arrive to clean up. Very unfortunate as the location is perfect, hotel is very nice, and the staff is very helpful. Evidently, there are on-going legal fights regarding the all night clubs and the surrounding hotels and apartments.
