The location is good and hotel needs updating, the carpets and hallway look outdated, the rooms service was leaving only two large towels even though there was 3 occupants in the room, the staff were very helpful, the chef/kitchen is poor, long waits just to get chicken fingers and chips, the menu is over priced for what you get, (portion are small for the price) we got cauliflower soup and it was like water and the soup bowl was not even warm, we only eat there once and had appetizers on our last night, I would stay again if the price was right but I would not eat there unless there is a big change with the restaurant chef, the breakfast was traditional Irish, not much of a fresh fruit options unless it was all taken by 9am when I came down for breakfast.

Everything was wonderful and the staff where the best, especially Sophia at the front desk. So patient. Also the gentlemen I met at 4:40am waiting for the bus on Tuesday April 4th.
The Castle needs some updating regarding the outside.

Lovely location, but for older people it is a long walk to the nearest public transport. Comfortable room with lovely view out over the bay and nice foyer with lots of seating available. Very poor menu in the restaurants. No variety in the food available in the dungeon or the posher restaurant or room service, just different prices which is fair enough if you consider the cost of laundering table cloths etc.

The floor we were on was under renovation, but it wasn’t loud/didn’t disturb us. Our room was newly renovated. Loved the restaurants, attractions and DART access within walking distance.

Recently celebrated a special birthday for my wife here and can't recommend highly enough! Great room, great facilities, great location (unless you make the mistake of trying to run up Killiney Hill!) and great service! Will definitely be back! Thank you all.

Enjoyed our stay. Convenient for what we needed. Lovely environment Be aware book a taxi on the way back on the dart from Dublin as the hotel is quite a hike especially for an 80 yr old. Did not manage to have breakfast kitchens not operational at time of visit.

Food lacking imagination and quality of food both evening and breakfast very low standard. Room was best part of stay. Drinks quite expensive in bar. A charge put on my room that shouldnt have been there so check your bill before you pay.
