Super-helpful staff, incredible breakfast, comfortable rooms. Staff provided outstanding assistance following lost luggage and flexibility around flights.

The stay was fine - I was worried it was going to be very loud but the Townhouse is actually quite quiet, which was a nice surprise. But considering how expensive this hotel is, the experience was lacking. The rooms felt tired and dark, the bed was badly made each day, they only provided water on the first night, and I came back one evening to find someone had opened a window and the room was freezing (with no extra blankets provided). Not a terrible experience, but not brilliant for the ££.

Great rooms. Nice and clean. Bar staff on the rooftop were not very welcoming always felt like a burden. Left a disposable camera on the roof and they threw it away instead of putting it in the lost and found.

The hotel staff was very helpfull. We did found our room too small and they arranged a bigger room for us. This was a wonderful room! We enjoyed the breakfast and views at Sophie’s restaurant and the atmosphere in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel but do not book a small room.

Our room (no. 409) was very dirty. No kettle in the room. Mirror beside bed broken. Rug beside bed dirty and to top it all the rim in the toilet bowl was very dirty. Dinner l had Goats cheese starter. The cheese was mashed like a mashed banana. Supreme of chicken was a reheated dried breast of chicken. Breakfast was good. Will never stay at the Dean Dublin again. We paid €251.80 for the room and dinner was €114. We told the manager when leaving but he was totally uninterested. Furniture being moved around above our room at 6am. Our saving grace was the concert in the National Concert Hall was excellent (Quincy Jones)

Great location, in night club district but noise wasn’t an issue, heard the music but it didn’t affect sleep at all. Lovely room, mini bar, safe, snacks if you want, very friendly and professional staff Gym and outdoor pool amazing! Price was reasonable for Dublin and I chose the super room Would def stay again

Really enjoyed my stay. I booked a pod room, it was just for me and it worked out perfectly. The decor is really funky and the staff very friendly, location is also pretty perfect and I have nothing negative to say about my stay, it was all positive for two nights over a weekend in Dublin for a very affordable price .

I’d rather they invested in double glazing and sound proofing than record players. Some of the rooms are directly over a nightclub with a screaming, bellowing dj. If you are happy to be kept awake until at least 2am, then this is the place for you. Very nonchalant attitude of staff, that as a stranger to the city it’s absolutely obvious this is the moodiest place on earth. Totally impractical if you’re in one of the noisy rooms. A real shame.

We were woken up at 5am with a sewage smell coming from what we believe to have been the toilet in our room (220) two nights ago. We had to sleep therefore with the window open to counteract the smell (which meant the room was cold). I was very disappointed when I reported this issue upon checking out the next morning that there was no apology or even mention that this would be looked into to prevent this happening to the next people staying in the room.
