Just loved this small family-run hotel. Staff terrific, everything you could want! Personal service. When the owner saw how jetlagged I was, despite my not having requested it ahead of time, she managed to get me into my room early. Absolutely delicious breakfast. Perfect location. Access to all kinds of public transport, got to center of city in less than 20 minutes. Planning to visit again.

Pat and Ann are exceptional hosts. The Aberdeen Lodge is beautiful, relaxing and impeccably maintained. Going to their lovely dining area each morning for a cold or cooked to order breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. They also helped us when a medical incident arose to find local help in a prompt manner. Pat shared clear information about local transportation and resources, restaurants, and areas to visit by train nearby. They packed us a yummy cold breakfast to take on a long day trip to Belfast and Giant’s Causeway. We also found every one of their employees to be gracious and to go out of their way to be helpful. We needed to rest and orient after our long travels by plane and being at their lodge was like having good friends in the area.

Super Lage - gleich am Meer - 3xBus und S-Bahn ins Zentrum 15min. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre - Super nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück a la Cart, selbstgemachtes Brot. Zimmer ein bisschen hellhörig. Bett nicht zu weich und Bad mit Badewanne. Ich würde wieder dort hin, da nicht so laut und stressig Wie im Zentrum. Einkaufen und Essen ca. 7min zu Fuss.

Perfect Dublin experience from beginning to end. Traveling with my mother and wife to visit my son, we stayed at Aberdeen for four nights. Pat and Anne welcomed us immediately and made us a part of their home. The house is immaculately kept with many recent upgrades, the breakfasts are delicious, and the vibe is 100% Dublin. Showers are hot, bed is comfortable, location is quiet. The location is also perfect. They are 100’ from a bus, 1/3 mile from the train, and a short 5 min walk to the beach or village of Sandymount, her pubs, restaurants and a fantastic bookstore. Temple Bar is 20 min away. There is parking at Aberdeen if you rent, and of course you can book a rideshare whenever and wherever.

My family and I had an amazing time at Aberdeen Lodge. We were there to celebrate my St. Patrick's Day Birthday. Aberdeen Lodge is a home away from home. We were all pampered by the entire staff. The ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing and peaceful settled within a quiet neighborhood conveniently located close to the train and bus stops. Every morning we enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast. The rooms are meticulously each day. We highly recommend the Aberdeen lodge for an relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I've had a very pleasant and most welcoming and relaxing stay at the Aberdeen Lodge. Pat, the owner, welcomed me warmly and invited me for tea. He then showed me the room, which was well equipped with everything, a traveller could ask for. I forgot my adapter at home and could lend one from Pat during my stay. The bed is very comfortable. Pats wife Anne cooked a wonderful breakfast and I could enjoy it in my own time indulging in the nice view from the dining room over the garden. Pat took his time explaining to me the location and which restarants are well worth a visit in Sandymount. I've enjoyed a wonderful stay and will happily return. All the best, Anne

We stayed at Aberdeen Lodge for St. Patricks Weekend, and it was the best choice we could have made. A very warm welcome late in the evening and a lovely and delicious breakfast in the morning. Very nice people around. Whenever we come back to Dublin, we‘ll check-in again.

I didn’t think that Patrick And Ann could top the last time we visited, but alas, they did. This hotel is a hidden treasure, not far from Sandymount Village, Dublin 4. it is in a top-notch neighborhood and is convenient to the dart train which will take you up and down Ireland’s East Coast. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Aberdeen Lodge.
