TV remote was broken, the maintenance guy the reception sent said "it's like that..." wiggled it till it worked. It did not work again after I left. had no energy to deal with it.

The stain-free glass doors, clean lobby floors, fast and friendly check-in was the first impression of the Clayton Cardiff. The guest room was well appointed, clean, and comfortable with a modern feel. I was there for an international conference and the conference attendees enjoyed the stay, treatment, and attention to details. Clayton's location is convenient to a number of places to visit and the staff are great ambassadors of Dublin. I highly recommend the Clayton Cardiff if you visit Dublin. Lastly, I can not remember a time walking past staff that did not smile, speak, or ask if they could help.

Just back from a perfect stay at the Clayton hotel Cardiff lane. As always the staff were really welcoming and professional. The hotel is so relaxing and the beds so comfortable. Everything about the hotel is fantastic and I look forward to staying again the next time I visit Dublin

We really enjoyed our stay. Friendly, helpful staff, clean spacious room, and lovely food, what’s not to love. A couple of minutes walk from the Bord Gais theatre was ideal for us. We’re looking forward to booking again.

Great location for a concert, but that is really about it. The hotel needs to get some upgrades, especially the bathroom. The toilet has no flush power, the shower is sad. The breakfast is ok, but it is shocking to see it run out of orange juice at 9am in a Sat.

All was excellent apart from the cleaning: we stayed for five nights and during the stay the room was very poorly cleaned and we had to ask for having used coffee cups changed and rubbish emptied.
Apart from that all was great.

Superb hotel for the money, not over luxurious but friendly staff, good buffet breakfast and nice bar area. Didn’t try the spa but the hotel is in a great location within walking distance of most main attractions. Recommended, and would stay next time we visit.
