We loved our stay here. Everything seamless. Dropped our bags off early, sightseed all day, checked in at the bar and went to bed. Great location- walkable to almost everything. We did take a taxi to the Gaol.,,people were great, accommodations were very comfortable. We would stay here again!

My daughter and I loved staying here - it was really close to the town centre. The Townhouse was newly decorated and our room was spacious and tasteful with very comfortable beds, & bathroom. Great value for money. It was also great that we could leave our luggage in the breakfast room before and after our stay.

Perfect location to walk everywhere. Absolutely loved it. Beds we're comfy and coffee in the morning was nice. Really good pints below and the staff were so friendly. Highly recommend for anyone. Easy access too.

It is in a convenient position for Airport transfer but in my opinion our room would benefit from a refresh one plug from a lamp was broken and tape marks all over a double plug point which was obviously covered up at some point, I know tea and coffee making was available in the dining room but I think more suitable to have facilities in the room, the pub itself is great with excellent staff

Such a great place to stay when visiting Dublin! Position central for sightseeing etc! So easy transfer by bus from airport. Rooms clean comfortable. Food excellent! Hilary Kieran and staff absolutely brilliant hosts and couldn’t do enough for us 5 ladies on our first trip to Ireland! Will return! Highly recommended! Many thanks Anne Chris Lynn and the two Sheila’s!

I stayed here with my brother recently and would throughly recommend staying here if you want to be close to all the main attractions Dublin has to offer. Check in was really easy in the bar and quick. Access to rooms are via a separate door next to the pub and are accessed via a key code. The room was spotless and a good size, bathroom and shower were all good and as expected. There’s a bus from the airport that drops off close by and O’Connell St, Temple Bar are all a 10 minute walk away. For a Friday night there were no noise issues either. The bar was lovely and pints were top drawer.

AVOID!!! This place is a sad, sad depressing place to stay. We booked early the year before and we were told that there was nighty Irish music and Irish breakfast. At the last minute before we arrived they sent us an email saying that there was no Irish music, not Irish breakfast and the pub would be closed on Sundays and Mondays (these were the dates we had booked!!) . They then said we could cancel but it was too late otherwise we would have to pay cancellation fees!!!. We arrived in a depressing area of Dublin where the pub is located and there was nobody to check us in. So sad. We managed to get hold of one of the off duty staff who was super kind who helped us to leave our bags and get to our room. The room was really nice but smelted of damp. We left for a better Dublin vibe and found a really nice Pub with accommodation (the Norseman in Temple Bar) which was half the price (Euro 90) and had a lovely 'craic'. We decided to leave the sad O'Neills Townhouse and we paid for the two nights instead of three. The 'accommodation manager' who we never met agreed to refund our deposit. (much to her credit). The Norseman and all the pubs in Temple Bar are very noisy at night but manageable. The Staff were wonderful and we would recommend this pub (if you don't mind the noisy neighbours (there is a lovely restaurant next door called the Shack which is really great value and really 'Irish' hospitality). Unfortunately Dublin Temple Bar at night is now a poor 'Magaluf' with boom, boom brainless noise until the wee hours supplemented with trash and vomit in the streets in the mornings. Shame. It used to be a really lovely idea and a Dublin gem. So the world turns and we are all the more poorer for it. Take care.

So disappointing, Owners stated it was a noisy pub - the reason being it is on one of the busiest roads and the noisy DART railway is right next to the hotel. Room was okay, only one chair, which is broken, 4 coat hangers , no safe, e mailed stated no breakfast available , but €12 euro lunch and €15 dinner available - no such deal. Had to ask for towels one evening (although they were quickly delivered). Definitely nothing special. Clean and conveniently located.

Central location, good transport links from airport, clean and spacious room. Comfortable and towels changed each day if needed. Kieran and Hillary were friendly and welcoming. The pub directly opposite, Moss Lane was great. Tom and Shane were friendly. Food and cocktails were good, and reasonably priced. Good music and enjoyable night out. Will definitely visit again
