Fantastic vibe, décor, staff, food, bar, pool. In particular, the barman remembered how I took my whiskey when my partner ordered it again several hours later. I felt like royalty!

Dublin Ireland was my last destination of my 2 and half weeks of European tour. The Mayson Hotel has the whole package - the food, gym, pool and rooftop bar. But, the staff steal the show. Every member of the staff was exceptional. The Greek gentleman, Aris made my stay very memorable with his exceptional hospitality. Dublin weather can be bipolar and for him to notice my struggle and provide me umbrella was very kind of him. He is very attentive, really good at communicating, gave me a ton of recommendations for things to do around the city and maintained professionalism throughout. If you’re looking for a hotel in the Dublin area, Look no further. The Mayson.

All fine.. it is a bit overpriced but for business trip is ok. Special thanks to the Greek guy in the reception (Aris) for the help and support. All in all the location is fine, the connection with the tram also fine. Breakfast a la carte which may be replaced with free selection

Booked for a weekend away and instantly regretted room was tiny, room service phone either didn’t work or they just weren’t answering, Netflix on the tv didn’t work and it costed €450 for two nights!! Not worth the money whatsoever nothing included in that either just the room but the worst part when we got there we were told that they had to take €100 euro extra incase there was any damages to the room ??? Never had that in a hotel before . On checkout I asked for it back I was told it would take 7-10 days !! Week later still don’t have my €100 back and still raging I spent that money thinking I was staying in a ‘luxury’ hotel

Had a really nice stay at the Mayson. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself is very stylish. We had a very comfortable sleep. The food on the rooftop bar was very nice. The views of the surrounding area are very nice to enjoy your food with!

It’s difficult to review The Mayson, as there’s so many super things about it, the restaurants, spa, bars, staff are all exceptional. The hotel is very designed-led and looks great in every area, but unfortunately it is definitely a case of form over function when it comes to the bedrooms. All the bedrooms look great they’re just not well designed for a business traveller, or for a couple. There are no drawers at all in the bedrooms. None. There are no hanging rails for your shirts and suits other than coat hooks. There’s no space to put your wash bag around the sink, none. The switches for the lights in the bathroom are on the opposite wall in the bedroom and hidden behind the coat hooks. As is the air-conditioning control which is seriously difficult to operate. There’s no shortage of minibar items and snacks, but there is no iron or ironing board in the room. There’s no focus lighting for a lady to do her makeup or see what they’re wearing. The one long mirror is in a dark position with no feature lighting. in general, I have to say the hotel is not suitable for a couple to spend more than one night as you literally cannot unpack your suitcase as there’s nowhere to put your clothes. It’s probably fine for a single business traveller on a one night stay, not suitable for longer than that. it looks beautiful, the amenities outside of the bedroom are fantastic, but the bedrooms really are poorly thought through, even if they look lovely on first impression.

Stayed here last night - great service from check in to the restaurant(Elephant and Castle) and pub/bar(Bottle Boy) - food including breakfast fantastic and the staff make the place Only slight downside is the building works that are going on next to the hotel - outside of the hotels control - also if you are used to larger rooms then you will be in for a shock as rooms are small - do the job for a night though and will definitely stay here again when next in Dublin Views from Ryleighs on the 6th floor are stunning
