crap hostel in rough area

We was staying there for an event we had booked. I asked for an iron and I waited 30minutes and it never arrived after being told it would be brought up. Only negative.

Beds were dirty. When informed reception they told me I had to wait for the manager the day after. The day after they told me the manager was not in and I would be contacted. 2 days later still no contact. As a business, shame on you for this silly behaviour and horrible customer service.

Noisey total waste of time you won’t be able to sleep no chance. They even had earbuds on the beds for us to use. Just a complete waste of time. And then they wouldn’t refund us. We had to leave after a coup of hours. Receptionist was a tool. Window wouldn’t seal either so the nightclub downstairs was practically in the room.

Good value, quality room and bathroom but: no hot water for shower, shower pipe leaking extensively when turned on and, the noise from the street was horrendous. On check in the reception person would have been better off at home. It should have been an indication when I checked in that there were complementary ear plugs in the bedroom

The hotel is surrounded by pubs & clubs that play music past 1AM. When a hotel provides earplugs, you know it will be noisy. The room was fine—new bath and comfortable beds. The sheets on one bed had a huge stain. The music was unbearable. Do not stay in this hotel if you want to sleep during the night.
