Guest House Gugily

The reason why I didn't give a better qualification it's because of the noise. You don't have privacy. You here everything and people don't respect the rules. Other guests were listening loud music untill late at night, talking loud and acting at two in the morning as it was like midday. That's not the owner's fault but rules should be clear to everyone. Respect it's the key. The other thing was the toilet. Everytime you flush the toilet or tap water starts running it makes a high sound. It sounded like a trumpet. And that's not funny when you try to sleep and people are going to the toilet late at night. I know it can be fixed. The owner was kind, the rooms were clean and just four minutes walking to the old City.

+ Amazing location seconds from Pile Gate a supermarket and a beach...without loads of steps that you will find in many other locations in city. Room was pleasant, clean and effective/quiet air conditioning. The dressing gown supplied was a nice touch. Kitchen was well equipped and handy having a large fridge with freezer compartment. Thd kitchen balcony overlooks Pile Gate area and a nice spot to sit with a glass of vino - Check in/contact was very poor. I received no answers back to questions/check in information after I booked. There was mention of a link for info but I didn't receive any hyperlink. Had there not been other guests outside the property when i arrived I don't know how long I might have been waiting outside. I had no contact info...make sure you have this in advance! Payment was a faff...there was an extra verification step...I hadn't read the email immediately and booking could have been cancelled. The rooms aren't soundproofed so if you have groups of youths staying...you'll be kept awake....I was several times up to 05.30 one morning. Take ear plugs! It can get a little busy with multiple rooms sharing 1 shower

Accommodation not signed. No instructions given on how to enter. Junk at front entrance. Room was kids room. No garbage in room. No Kleenex. Only a thin bed sheet for a blanket. Washroom not cleaned the entire time, even tho it was a shared washroom with around 6 people using it daily. Lots of improvements to be made.
