Went to Spa for a massage and bath. If I wasn't going home tomorrow I'd be back then! As I do Aromatherapy anyway it was more interesting. If you have anything wrong, like I have epilepsy, they like to be told as it affects the oils they can use. I'll be back next holiday I'm here!

More 4star than 5. Great location on headland with views across the bay. You can walk along promenade all the to the town. Good room with comfortable beds and balcony. Large bathroom with walk in shower but poor shower head that just blasted small jet of water rather than a proper shower. Breakfast was very busy with uncomfortable chairs and felt quite depressing. The standard of food was poor. Reconstituted scrambled eggs and generally average produce is not up to 5 star standard.

LOCATION - pretty location but not close to Old Town. Your options of getting to old town is bus#6 (can be packed), uber, or taxi. It's like a chain of royal hotels along the water so you can walk the promenade from one end to the other. FOOD - buffet breakfast at terrace was ok. They don't change the selections so it's the same things over and over again (except maybe the desserts) INTERNET - relatively fast and stable. I was suprised to have reception outdoors on the promenade. ROOMS - it took a long time to cool the rooms. AC doesn't seem to work until late at night. we had to open the patio doors. It was cooler outside then inside. There was also the issue of the battery failing on our room door. Basically the staff had to open the door manually to access. Luckily we didn't get our stuff stolen bc the door did not close after chambermaid finished cleaning our rooms. SERVICE - staff were friendly enough BUT slow. asked for toilet paper, ended up taking it off chambermaid cart instead. months ahead i tried to email them about booking a spa appt and to enquire about their advertised boat tours. NO response. if the hotel wants to make money, I would think the manager would make sure that all responses are answered immediately.
