Very nice hotel, good location, near the pier, take bus No. 6 at the entrance to the castle and it's only a few stops away, and it's only a few hundred meters to the nearby Lapad Commercial Center. The hotel reception is warm and polite, the room design is reasonable, clean and tidy, the facilities are complete and convenient, and the hotel also has its own paid parking lot, 10 euros per day.

We found a lot to like at the Lapad. The bar, pool and coffee shop are nice. Most of the staff are friendly. The breakfast is very good with pretty much everything you could think of being available, even fizz. The location is excellent, being away from all the commotion of the old city, but accessible by foot (30 minutes uphill. We did this once) or bus, although the departure stop is now 5 mins away uphill. The return bus stops almost outside. There are good restaurants within minutes, the excellent Red Museum 15 minutes walk and a great walk around the headland footsteps away. The rooms all seem to be of a similar size, quite small with push together beds and single duvets. Smallish TV. Fridge. I really liked our small but stylish bathroom with rain shower. We paid for a balcony with side sea view. This afforded quite a nice oblique view of the inlet and boats going to and fro. It could do with a bit of a touch up in places, but overall a good choice.

First time to Dubrovnik, stayed here for a week. Hotel is fantastic, rooms modern and very comfortable. Staff were so nice on reception, in the restaurant and in the bar. Rooms very clean, towels changed daily, quality toiletries supplied and replenished daily too. Our maid was called Kate and was very friendly. Entertainment 3 nights a week which was good. Food was good with varied choice, we were half board. Only negative comment would be at times we had a lengthy wait for a drink in the dining room, would suggest buying it in the bar and taking it in with you. Lots of lovely walks nearby and hotel is at a lovely marina. Half hour walk to Old Town or short bus ride. Hotel is in a great location.

We were very impressed with the reception staff who made us feel very welcome. We arrived early so couldn't check in but we were shown a place where we could store our luggage and the receptionist made contact with the maid to find out how long the rooms would take. We went for a walk and when we returned we were shown to our room and the receptionist brought up our luggage. Rooms were very well equipped with a fridge, tea and coffee facilities and a bottle of water left on the dresser. Pool area was nice but there was so much to see in Dubrovnik that we didn't spend much time there. We only had a couple of minor issues with the hotel the food was excellent but seemed to take a long time to replenish, so it was sometimes a bit of a wait to get a full plate. The drinks in the bar are far from cheap but not far off the prices in the main town. However, we did find that if you ordered a liqueur some of the measures were very small depending on who was serving. All in all we would have no hesitation in recommending the Lapid to friends and family.

Très bon hôtel et pratique quand on arrive en voiture. Parking privé pour 10€/nuit. Excentré mais le centre est très aisément accessible en Uber ou en bus. Marina dans l’environnement immédiat. Belle piscine. Petit déjeuner buffet complet.

A beautiful hotel with everything that you need. Great location for exploring Dubrovnik with the bus by the hotel. Recommend getting the Dubrovnik pass which includes bus,town walls and museums. The food is very good and always hot and plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to everyone.

We have just returned from a 5 day stay at this lovely hotel situated by the marina. Our room ,506, had a lovely view and was super clean, the staff allowed us to check in when we arrived at midday, which was wonderful, It’s easy to get the bus into the old town and back €2 each way from outside the hotel, but free if you buy the Dubrovnik pass. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool, the bar area is great with some fabulous staff, who were there every-night , and the bar prices were very reasonable by hotel standards, with music 3 nights a week! We had breakfast as part of our deal, and wow what a breakfast, you couldn’t ask for more. We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel, but it looked good, there are several nice restaurants a few steps away. All in all, we would totally recommend this lovely hotel, and its history.
