Guesthouse Anna

Great stay and most helpful host, helped with buses and activitys and showed me where to find an affordable supermarket, Nice size room with lots of amenities like fridge,kitchen and Microwave. Well worth the asking cost of the room and will recommend to any friend visiting Dubrovnik

So I just left Anna Gusthouse. I stayed there for 11 days. I stayed in one of the rooms with an en suite. Everything was perfect, really clean, a small refrigerator (which was very convenient!!) Host was the best, made feel really comfortable and really like I was at home. He gave me a lot of helpful of advices (best beaches to go, how to get around, stuff like that) He even arranged a transportation to the airport cheaper than I should’ve paid. Location is good, close to a supermaket, some very nice beaches and 2 min walk to the bus stop. The bus takes you to downtown in just 10 min. Dubrovnik is really beautiful (lots and lots of stairs and slopes) I would really come back to Anna Guesthouse if I ever have the chance to come back!

Anna guesthouse is amazing I can’t recommend it enough !!! Etienne is a very nice person who I do everything he can to help you . He is a very honest person and told us what places are good to eat local good food not too expensive and avoid some touristy overpriced places , he also recommended the Dubrovnik pass that was so helpful and cost-saving and on our last day our flight was late in the evening but he let us keep out luggages at the guesthouse as we had a tour booked and when we came back in the evening at 7pm he even offered for us to take a shower before going to the airport even if the check out was supposed to be 10am!! The location is perfect 3 minutes walk to a bus stop and it will take you in about 10/15 minutes to Dubrovnik old town , on the other side you only are 10 minutes walk to lapad beach which is beautiful. There are also cafes supermarkets and bakeries around . Also very good value . Clean room with shower and toilet, there was even various international adaptators in case we needed it ! Can’t recommend enough thank you so much Etienne 10/10

Stevi was very chatty and helpful. Use the no.6 bus just at the bottom of the road and turn right. Takes you straight to the old town. Leave early to miss the hordes from the cruise boats

The house and people

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 days at the beginning of September. The host is very nice and explains to you cool stuff around the area and how to use the bus system. Old town is about a 15 min bus ride, just use the #6 bus and buy a bus ticket at one of the kiosks around. There are multiple different rooms, but the one we got had a large bed, a mini fridge and a microwave. Our place didn’t have an outside patio but there was an outside area with a drying rack you can lay your beach stuff out on. The location is located at the top of a hill, you have to take multiple steps to get there. If you don’t plan on renting a car this could be hard if you are handicapped or maybe not prepared for this. My bf and I had no issues with the stairs. The location is about a 5-10 min walk to lapad bay, which is a gorgeous beach to swim in. If you walk along the path on the right side of the bay there are multiple swim spots with ladders on the rock that are absolutely gorgeous! This rental is kind of similar to an air b and b, you don’t have someone coming inside your room to clean etc so keep that in mind when you book. Again this wasn’t that big of a deal to us. Overall this booking was great for the money! I highly recommend.
