We decided to book Bayswell Park, as we were going to be attending a family wedding at Broxmouth Courtyard, short drive away. We opted for a deluxe suite since we were 3 nights and wanted to make the most of our time away. On arrival, we were greeted by the staff in reception, friendly and helpful. Our room was the john muir suite on the 1st floor, the room had stunning views of the sea. The room furnishings and decor were in keeping with the buildings history, with a modern ensuite bathroom. The hotel and rooms were very clean. My only criticism of the room is that it looked onto the hotubs, making it us feel a little awkward when tried to sit in the bay window to enjoy the view. In the mornings we enjoyed the breakfast in the cosy conservatory. There was a nice selection of continental and cooked breakfast options, including vegetarian and vegan. The serving staff very friendly and polite. The main door of the hotel is locked after 11pm, after this time, access is via a electronic keypad, the code is given when you check in, the first time using it was a little confusing, but it is easy to get the hang of it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are already talking about booking another stay, so we can properly explore the town and surrounding area. Thank you to all the staff for a pleased stay and we will see you all again soon
