"We had to cancel our abroad holiday plans so needed a weekend away to recharge our batteries. This place was perfect. It was particularly relaxing to be able to have the dogs with us and not worry as there are secure dog runs. The outside heater was fabulous to stave off the Scottish 'summer'! We sat our until late just enjoying each other's company, adding logs to the fire and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We loved seeing all the animals just over the fence and a wee trip to the 'gin palace' affords you the most amazing views! It has been sympathetically renovated with original brickwork which gives an authentic feel but also has all the mod cons you might need. A"
