Room was tidy, but bathroom fan ran 24hrs a day which caused the bathroom to become cold and stay cold,
this also made the room cold and I had to place a towel along bottom of bathroom door to try and get some heat into the room, which stayed there. And there is a vent on the outside wall of room which was constantly forcing very cold air into the room, which had to have its vent forcibly closed.

Had a meal Sam and Dan made our visit worth while with their humour will call again very clean and very quick service finally got a bitter shandy in the Borders of Scotland been trying for ages seems like it was never going to happen, parking was great too.

We often go to the Pine Marten as it is the friendliest place around especially as we often have our dog and young son who is only months old. There is plenty of room to relax and not feel like you’re cramped or in anyone’s way. The food is also delicious and there is so much choice. Again I can’t speak highly enough of how friendly the staff are, the customer service really makes it for us.

Dog friendly pub. Indoors & beer garden. Freshly made meals & lunchtime specials. 2 or 3 courses. Loads of different options. Separate dog menu reasonably priced & water bowls available. Table service & friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The room was clean, with comfortable beds and the bathroom was very clean with new-looking modern fittings.
The only thing that was a bit off was they didn’t serve any breakfast on Christmas Day but there was no mention of this when I booked and the restaurant was open later for dinner. Nowhere else was open, so no breakfast. Today was the 2nd day of our stay and we had a lovely breakfast.
