Location and Staff were great, Room was clean , But you can listen every noise from outside at night from old windows 🪟, It was a sleepless night.

We had a lovely stay here. A very comfortable room (we got upgraded!) , very clean. The building is just beautiful and the common areas are really impressive! We preferred to use the stairs rather than the lift as the stair is so exquisite! Breakfast - all very tasty! Thank you for a lovely stay! (Maybe it’s all a bit expensive for Dundee … but it’s Malmaison so … I don’t know!)

The room was lovely and had a camp bed for my 7 year old. She loved that it was there just for her. The coffee was excellent in the room. Everything was clean and there was plenty of space. I loved having the long bench in our room.

Me and my wife have been coming to the Malmaison for years and it never fails to impress us. Our meals were incredibly tasty and the cocktails were on point. We were attended to by Dorothea and Carrie-Anne, who were very professional and made sure our night was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend a visit when in Dundee! Hats off to the Malmaison for hiring such lovely staff😊

Perfect cocktail If you’re in Dundee and would appreciate a perfect cocktail you must visit the Malmaison. Wonderful service and exquisite drinks . Fraser who served me was wonderful, friendly and knows how to make a cocktail. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed in a club room for two nights. The room was spacious with an excellent en-suite and an outlook to the waterfront. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our first night. The food and service from the staff was exceptional, a special thanks to Fraser and Rebecca for making our anniversary meal special. There was a reasonable selection for breakfast, with various fruit, cereal etc. and a good selection of hot food available. The hotel has a very central location, giving easy access to the V & A and the train station.

This hotel could not be more convenient for Dundee city centre. A brief walk from the railway station, and from there the city is just a short walk as well. Comfortable rooms with all the expected amenities, I was also grateful for an upgraded room. My one criticism I'd have is that the room was very dark, particularly the bathroom - but that seems to be a trait of Malmaison properties throughout. Great stay all in all.

Great location but unfortunately very loud Karaoke till 1am. Lovely building and views. Room was nice as was bathroom. Phone in room didn’t work so notified reception by calling from mobile. Took three attempts to order room service. Food ok but not ‘amazing’. Unfortunately our neighbours in the adjoining room decided to party till 4.30am with frequent attempts to enter our room. With no phone we struggled to contact reception and as two females not keen to walk the corridors at night. Very little sleep as a result. Breakfast ‘Meh’. Very limited continental choice, food arrived dried out, fatty +++ bacon, black pudding solid and just not worth £21. Tasteless and congealed. Tea/coffee machine not working and by time sorted and got my sauces to the table the food was cold. Having stayed in a few Malmaison’s now, although staff were lovely and helpful when asked, just not the standard expected or that justifies the prices.
