Carolyn Thompson 3/5 Best mediocre and cheap. Very interesting approach to room service. You have to ask for your room to be serviced which we did on each of the four mornings of our day. On the first day nothing was done the second day the bed was made. Towels were replaced and the coffee cups were washed and replaced. On the third day we got clean towels and one of our two coffee cups was replaced roundabout, with the other one being left full of the ***** of our previous cup of tea! Clearly not been washed as we had tipped out a cup of tea into it and although we had swished it round with water, there were drops of coffee around it. Not cleaned. Bed not made. The shower gel had never been topped up all week and it was empty all week. But I reported all of this to the receptionist this morning, she said she would make a note of it and feed it back to whoever. She did however ask me why I haven’t reported that last night. It would’ve been somewhat ineffectual to do so as we were going to bed! I have to add that my travelling companions, for other couples, also experienced all of the above and in some cases had never had their bed made all week! I know it’s not difficult, but it is a hotel after all!

Great location,plenty of parking. You will need to get a voucher from reception to scan at the parking machine,so you pay just £4. As it is a horizon car park. Check in was smooth, two really cheery guys on the desk. Who apologised for the minimal delay due to the hotel being fully booked. Room was spotless,clean & tidy. Slept great,never heard a thing. My only gripe would be a window that opens. Sometimes the stuffy room smell is a bit wiffy when you 1st walk in. The location of this premier inn is great, across the road is the train station, literally less than 1000yrds is the V&A. & a 5min walk into the town.

Really nice for a semi-budget hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to all the Dundee attractions like museums. Room was very comfortable and bed suited me well. The hotel is right by the waterfront and my room looked over the river. Nice to waken up to in the morning

Excellent. Great location, good value for money, very clean, fabulous bed and shower, good in-room facilities (basic but as expected- kettle, hairdryer, toiletries- good environmental protection)

Love the premier inn at Dundee central.location is great and staff are friendly. Food is good and the breakfast is good too

Ideally located hotel for sightseeing with the V&A, RSS Discovery and HMS Unicorn all in close proximity. Also, the hotel is just across from Dundee Railway station.

A nice stay at Dundee. A great location and lovely people working in the restaurant and the hotel. Will return again in the future as the location was so good with great rooms and comfortable beds. :) thank you very much. will see you soon. xxxx

In spite of the wintry weather,a warm welcome.Rooms not available but free tea or coffee.Very comfortable bed and pillows.A sea view .Large bathroom also bath shower gel erraticGood meal in the Befeater restaurant saved us going into town in a cold wet night.Good sound ,quiet sleep.Hearty breakfast buffet and free for our 5 year old

Over 30 mins to q and checkin , unhelpful staff , no couch to sit on in the room , apparently they are being replaced .. so replace them, eventually got a room with a couch . Staff were unhelpful and not welcoming , really just couldn’t be bothered. Carpets in corridor were frayed and needing vacuum. To top it off , a fire alarm sound in our room at 0720, a good night guaranteed, definitely not .. next time I’ll go elsewhere .. air conditioning which made noise but gave nothing out , so uncomfortable warm night
