Amazing views, service, and incredibly comfortable.
I needed a hotel last minute for some friends and The Briers blew away my expectations. I will absolutely recommend people stay here in the future.

The warmest of welcomes on arrival at this tastefully renovated country farmhouse… The modern attention to detail and the cosiest atmosphere will make you return!! Darren and the team are exceptional in their customer service and care…there is nothing that is too much trouble and they catered for our every need!! Doggie friendly for sure and a must if you want that perfect breakaway with your pet!!! I would recommend this property and we will definitely return again soon!!!

Avoid this place at all costs staff and owner Darren is extremely rude and unhelpful rooms not clean dirty bedding and dirty shower also tv don't work in room and when asked for it to be sorted ut wasn't ...breakfast is absolute joke especially for overvly high prices charged per night..rooms supposed to have free bottles of water and milk but not in rooms and when asked for we told it will be sorted soon we never did get any had to purchase our own ...Avoid at all costs

Wow! What a fabulous wee place, right in the heart of the Mournes. Better facilities and comfort than many fancy hotels we have stayed at, and particular attention to detail. Our room was spotless and spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We didn't venture out for dinner as we were able to get a takeaway delivered and use the lovely breakfast room to eat. There is also a little bar area, with ice machine and honesty bar to add to the comfort. Breakfast was continental with everything you would want. Very exciting to read about future plans! Would definitely recommend.

Lovely relaxing overnight stay in the beautiful setting of the Briars. Darren the host was really friendly and welcoming and we found the room spotlessly clean and very comfy. Nice to have a snug and a bar and Sky sports TV. Also ideally placed for Tolymore with plenty of great walks.

Darren is a fabulous host. Incredibly friendly, outgoing and informative. His property is beautiful he he does an amazing job of making you feel at home. He provided us with recommendations to a fabulous restaurant and recommended that we make time to stroll the waterfront, which we did and were so happy we did! We already have plans to stay at The Briers Country house again.

Lovely place. Very clean and well presented in every way. Host so helpful and welcoming. Great honesty bar. Quite simply a great little place to stay . Will definitely book again when I visit the family. We arrived late and it was no problem. Felt at home and welcome from start to finish.
