雖然位置偏僻了些，不過自己開車ok ，離愛丁堡開車半小時，但是價格便宜很多，IHG 酒店集團管理，房間乾淨，酒店有餐廳，晚餐還不錯，不過沒有電梯，行李多且重的避坑。

洗手間都幾好，清潔都唔錯👍位置就比較偏少少但係行出大馬路約15分鐘都有好多巴士🚌站去不同嘅地方。台前服務員就唔算好主動幫客人🙂行去火車站同景點大約35分鐘。

From the website it looks a bit grim but the rooms are actually nice and airy, very clean with comfy beds and good bedding. The various bars and restaurants were the most pleasant surprise with truly amazing haggis balls in pepper sauce and scampi - staff were all very friendly so very glad I based myself here to catch up with relatives Five star all round really ! Stay well clear of this place. Staff new not trained. Starter arrived and waiter didn't ask if I would condiments. Waiter then tried to take starter before I had finished. Main course arrived and I had to get up and go ask waiting staff if i could get a fork, attitude displayed by staff was this is just a holiday camp for them. To top it of they even tried to charge me twice for a drink I had already bought and paid for ordering food. Shocking poor service, it's the new King Malcolm hotel, clock ticking with this place. Avoid at all costs.

Stayed 2 nights for business & really enjoyed. Would stay again for pleasure/leisure! Used the fitness room (2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 bike & some free weights + mats for use): no-one else in so had to myself & features a tv. It is very basic, open 8:30am-8:30pm (would guess to manage noise) but did the job…… Had meal first night & enjoyed - something for everyone on the menu. Ate in the conservatory with lovely views including that of the grounds that are obviously lovingly looked after. Main portion of the room was a little dated by the wooden doors/room furniture but was totally fine & bathroom was very modern. Very clean & nice refreshment options in room. The staff were warm, relaxed & friendly. The hotel had the air of one from years gone by & enjoyed that nostalgia :)

Had a one night stay on 27th April as we were attending a concert. We were in Room 236. A bit dated with the bathroom needing full refurbishment however was clean and had all amenities. Our bed was massive and very comfortable. Our deal included breakfast and a bottle of wine in our room. Breakfast was decent and no complaints with our wine! First time in ages where I’ve stayed in a hotel where the bar is open through the night. This was handy as we wanted to unwind with a drink after the concert. Bar prices were very reasonable. Without doubt though, the stars here are the staff. A credit to the hotel.
