This hotel is a little gem! Staff were wonderful, room clean and comfortable. This hotel is very relaxing yet only a 5 minute bus ride from the centre of Dunfermline costing £5.00 for two of us. A pleasant outside area to relax. Food was great and the restaurant and bar clean and beautifully decorated. We consider ourselves lucky to have found such a fantastic hotel and definitely intend to return

I have previously stayed at the Adamson Hotel and rated 3 stars. Despite this, myself and my partner opted to stay at this hotel again whilst in Dunfermline for 1 night We weren't due to arrive at the hotel until late as we were travelling up from the Midlands after work. I got in touch with the hotel to ensure this wasn't a problem, and we checked in immediately around 11pm with a very kind and friendly gentleman The room was huge, clean and homely. I wasn't in the hotel for long as we went straight to bed and I was up early for work, however the room met my needs. I do wish the pillows were a little comfier The bathroom was also spacious, however there was a strong smell of grease in the bathroom (smelt like a takeaway-type food) which wasn't very pleasant. The only other downside was the desk - my partner worked from our hotel room until check out the next day, however the desk wasn't very deep Overall, I much preferred our 2nd stay at this hotel and I would stay here again in the future

The hotel was okish for one quick night stop over however found the communal areas not clean and the breakfast was very limited and not very good in terms of choice and cooking ability, led me to believe no proper chef in hotel. I was disappointed with this hotel.

From checkin in, to checking out, staff were lovely, nice pints in the bar and a cracking breakfast. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Excellent hotel. Clean and modern with friendly helpful staff. Travelled up from Manchester to stay one night. Would recommend this hotel if you're looking at staying in Fife.

Stayed the night here while my house was getting some work done to it. The Adamson Hotel has been one of my favourite places to go for a meal and drink and go there regularly for a drink as I live near by. I stayed in room number 111. The room was very clean and tidy. The only The shower only ran cold water and I had the settings up to hot. The bed was comfortable and clean but the pillows were old and very low down. I had quite a good sleep but was woken up at around 2am as I heard a lot of noise from the room upstairs. Breakfast was just like any other hotel Buffett style breakfast. Food was nice but a bit on the cold side. All in all I would rate the adamson hotel a 8 out of 10.

Nice place, lovely friendly staff Would have been a higher score if there was more room in the restaurant area for breakfast. Really couldn’t move, aisle was very narrow Also find it unfair that the restaurant had a limited menu yet no takeaway food was permitted in the rooms

Dreadful stay. Loud music all night, kept windows closed and wore headphones in bed. No one answered phone. No sleep after 12 hour journey!! Worst night in a hotel I've ever experienced. Why were we not informed of a party!? I'm shocked at their total disrespect for clients who've paid for a room to sleep in
