The room very samll and give us without any veiw berkfast is ok no swim ball is difcult to find entrance

The hotel is fabulously presnted and situated in the center of Durham County. The clerks are helpful, courtesy of the times~ breakfast is very British menu and ordinary plates not many choices. only one coffee machine is nothing but short for service.

King size bed，lovely staff，location is great. Approx 10min’s walk from the train station.

The building plan was a bit confusing. But it was very clean with great service!

The hotel is excellently located and the staff were very helpful. I will stay at this same hotel next time I go to Durham.

I ended up with a huge spacious suite. How wonderful.

The location is convenient. The staff are friendly. The service is great.

Hotel has a central location. Rooms are of a high standard. Received a complimentary drink in the room as a birthday surprise which was very kind. Would recommend!

Very nice stuffs

When I booked the Royal County Durham. It clearly showed a photo of a swimming pool and spa. So you can imagine my reaction when I was informed there's been no pool for quite a long time . When I feel I've been feel missold this hotel, at the end of the day false selling.

The hotel is ideally located in the city centre, easy access and nice location near the river. Over a 6 day stay my room was only cleaned and tea/coffee restocked once, which was a little disappointing considering there’s no reduction in price for the longer stay. The staff were generally friendly and remembered details from my checkin which was a nice touch. Room service was hit and miss - one was very late (but then not charged) and the other had no steak knife or condiments - generally tasty though.

This time I went to visit my daughter who was studying at Durham University and stayed at this hotel again. I was still satisfied. The location is great and the surrounding scenery is also great.

The transportation is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the city. The scenery along the road is as beautiful as the scenery. It's great. For breakfast on the first floor, I chose to sit by the window, taste simple real food, and drink pure black coffee. It was really comfortable and relaxing.
