The place was fantastic from start to finish. The food was great staff were fantastic nothing was to much trouble. From cleaning staff to manger. Specially Amy she was brilliant definitely say again. You must try. Best breakfast I have had.

Excellent service and food was outstanding, really good choice for breakfast and menu. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they did everything to make our stay pleasurable.

We are both in our 70's and we think this is some of the best fish and chips we have ever had, the ale batter was crispy all the way round, the cod was lilly white and succulent, we will definitely be going back again, the staff were very polite and friendly, thank you. 10 out 10

Staff gave us a lovely welcome and sorted out a minor check-in problem immediately. Our room was super with comfy beds. We had an excellent dinner and an equally good breakfast. We are looking for an excuse to return!

What a fantastic stay. We took three rooms as a family. Possibly the cleanest and most comfortable stay we have had in Durham. Cosy and with a restaurant below, it was remarkably quiet upstairs even with Christmas celebrations. Each room had its own shower and toilet. One room had a shower and a tub. Ample plug points for charging devices. The bed and pillows were superb. It really was a perfect stay. Thank you
