The hotel is a bit old in general, but still decent.

Always one of my favorite places to stay. The front desk staff is always welcoming. The room is clean.

Great location but no breakfast on weekday

The hotel has charged me repeatedly, and it has been 20 days now, but Ctrip has not solved it yet. I am so disappointed!!!

The room is very dim, no disposable slippers are provided, and there is only one set of toiletries in the triple room. I will not stay here again.

It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

Great experience.  Staff was pleasant and very accommodating.  We experienced a situation and needed to change our room 6 hours after checking in, and they fulfilled that need. I asked to have a last minute copy made and since to ”remote print” option wasn't working,  the desk clerk helped me out. We were there for a class reunion and it was so nice to be able to stay at the same venue. The set up for the reunion was above our anticipated plan. The staff, bartender and banquet coordinator were all professionals and gracious. 

I was here for a conference in the summer of 22. The room at first glance was much cleaner and smelled much nicer than I expected from reading previous reviews. At a closer glance, the coffee pot must not have been used in months as one of the half and half containers, which had been partially used by a previous guest was left on the tray and had dried with mold, ewwwww. Hard to look at, but remaining positive, I tried to look past it. The conference food was at best, ok, but that could have been the budget of my organization. With that said, on the second night, my friends and I drove ten miles north for better food at dinner time.   The ice machine didn’t work on my floor (floor 6) and the meeting rooms on floor 5 smelled repulsive after a bathroom leaked onto the carpet the previous week. Although fans  were running 24 hrs a day, it didn’t help enough to be able to ignore the repulsive smell in the hallways.  Our conference provided a special reception for about 100 people in a restaurant where they provided tickets for two complimentary drinks per person, but there were only two bartenders staffing the room. I’m not sure who is at fault there, but I’d have to think someone else could have been pouring wine and handing out bottles to keep the lines moving. I never even went back for my second drink.  If I wasn’t stuck here, I wouldn’t still be here on the second night.   Pretty on the outside, very nice staff, but not enough to ever consider returning. 

I had a last minute trip pop up for me and immediately tried to see about booking this property, as its been my 'go to' hotel over the past 11 years since I grew up in the local area.  I called the front desk to see if I could talk to the manager and see if I could get a more reasonable rate since I had been SO loyal, the trip was last minute and I understood that with Rutgers having a football game with Nebraska that weekend, they were likely more full than usual.  I understand all of that.    The front desk clerk left me on a 25 minute hold, so I hung up and politely called back...same woman answered and SHARPLY replied that she hadn't done that- I grew up in NYC/NJ and even I was taken aback by her nasty, loud, accusatory reply.  She said she'd place me on hold and see about getting a manager.  This time she came back and said ”The manager said that the rate is the rate, that's it!” I was stunned that after 11 years of loyalty to this property- so much so that the front desk staff knew me by face and name on previous visits (pre COVID).      I could accept and understand an answer like ”we're pretty full and can't adjust the rates for the weekend” or similar response...but the manager didn't even want to take my call and I got the big 'blow off'.  Well, there are other properties within eyesight of this hotel (that DON'T charge for parking BTW) that I can patronize in the future.  It was the abrupt, crude response of the front desk staffer and the blow off by the manager that left me stunned and no longer willing to consider this property.
