We have been to this hotel before, but this time we saw a sign saying that swimming will incur £5 pp charge. I was gutted that I was not advised, as the receptionist said this new policy took place 2 weeks ago. BUT, when we went to the pool, the clerk told us that if you booked from a different provider (trip.com etc) you have a complimentary pass to the pool. If only we knew the first day. But really happy overall.

Great hotel comfortable stay for business, will be back frequently staff so helpful despite other reviews the pool is free for hotel guests and food was amazing although the rooms are tired and could do with some TLC they are clean, comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. Looking forward to coming back in a few weeks time and staying again my new home away from home!

We had an excellent weekend stay at the Doubletree Newbury North. The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience. A special thank you to Phil who took great care of us and was a pleasure to chat to throughout our stay.

The hotel is the old style tired hilton look. But everything clean and working. Pool good warmer than I've used in a hotel for some time. Despite locations rooms quiet and well sized. Staff mostly helpful but have to say a massive shout out to Hannah on breakfast/ the bar. What a wonderful friendly and supper helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Hannah you made are stay!

good location. When I checked in, I received a very warm, friendly and professional welcome by Evan. My room was clean and comfortable. I later went down to check in my sons room and once again received another warm and friendly welcome but from another team member Svet, who was very efficient too. Then I went down to the bar with mu husband for a drink and a snack and this time at the bar was a young lady by the name of Raquel, who was absolutely amazing, she took absolutely wonderful care of us. Thank you to the wonderful team for making us feel welcome, We will be back
