We had to clean the room as soon as we arrived. House keeping only came once over 4 days and did little more than tidy. Busted stove top, busted shower head, half the light globes were dead. No smart TV. Parking facilities were a cramped labyrinth, lucky if you can find a spot. The back entrance was often left propped open, otherwise requiring your room key to open.

This is quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Arrived 3pm and was told I was super early for check in. Was given a room and wow it was a site. Severe roof damage from obvious water leak above. Bathroom had an attempted renovation by wish. Shower door only opens about 1/3 of way as hits vanity. You also strap up into shower around 400mm. Quite dangerous. Oh there was also a dead cat in front garden hahaha. Shower pressure was great

Property was very quiet and had free parking which was great.paid for a king and single bed room but when we arrived this wasn’t available but didn’t get a refund. Bathroom wasn’t very clean. Electric cook top however no pans etc. equip consisted of a toaster, then 2 each of knives, forks, spoons 2 plates, 2 dishes, 2 cups and 2 glasses. Dish washing liquid was only cleaning product. No hand towels or face washers .very basic.

Unfortunately my room stank of cigarettes and air freshener - I had to leave the windows (and hence curtains) open overnight to combat the smell so didn’t sleep well. The bathroom light didn’t work and even though I’m a small person I barely fit in the shower. Not sure what you’d do if you had broad shoulders.

More like Dis-comfort Hotel!
The bathroom smelt of urine, bed was not made correctly, no cover on the duvet and pillows/mattress needed upgrading (very uncomfortable). I don't recommend this hotel.

Room rate changed by management on check in with additional charges despite booking confirmed as choice privelidges member, felt very much like "money grabbing" by management. Lady at check in was abrupt and unwilling to discuss further. People clearly smoking in ground floor rooms, stunk of cigarette smoke. My children were surprised & quite worried by this. We observed a number of questionable looking characters moving through the establishment. The room itself appeared OK, slightly updated but scratch the surface and hygiene was lacking. Old used tissues found behind the curtains, a sour smell in bathroom ? From drain in the shower? Hotel noisy overnight with people slamming doors and walking up and down corridor at 3am. But perhaps worst of all, we discovered bedbugs crawling up the behead the next morning! (Reported to management, who have said they will address) Definitely avoid this hotel if you value hygiene & feeling secure at a hotel at night.

BEWARE: We booked and paid for this hotel on June 30 2023 for 16–19 Feb 2024, the weekend of the Taylor Swift concert. Out of the blue on 3 Feb 2024, 7 months later, I receive an email from Maxine, the owner, that my booking has been cancelled & refunded. No explanation. Maxine did not reply to my messages, hung up on me when I called, then on my daughter & my husband. Also on Stayz (who I'd booked it through) and Choice, the hotel chain. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Maxine will rort you.
