Thoroughly enjoyed our stay: slept well, ate well and enjoyed the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very lovely stay, loved the hotel and staff are very welcoming especially *tinder* sorry for spelling would come again. Breakfast was lovely and the bar was not as expensive as we thought it would be for such a nice hotel. Very clean and tidy also.

We stayed here for two nights recently in June 2024 Very good location 10 min walk to pier. Hotel overlooking sea . Had a standard double sea view room . Was ok but dated Bed was quite comfy and not really noisy considering road is busy outside .. bathroom bit tired and toilet seat moved when used ..we didn't eat here so can't comment on facilities for dining . Pool was lovely , small but warm and had to ourselves towels provided too . The only downside was attitude of staff over the lift which broke down between floors and lights went out we pressed the alarm several times no answer .. I was very upset and understandably panicked the lift eventually restarted and went to a random floor . We reported it immediately and staff could see my distress but all said was I'll get engineer out . We spoke to manager on check out and she was very apologetic . I realise things go wrong mechaically at times ,but just a bit more concern for my welfare would have been nice Good value for price just dont use lift .

This is a really nice hotel with beautiful rooms overlooking the sea, a good restaurant which consistently does good food (and a decent breakfast), and with lovely staff. I've stayed here lots of times an dit's consistently very good. And it's got a swimming pool!

We stayed in Eastbourne for two nights, we booked a superior room with breakfast. York house is an old building right on the seafront, our room overlooked the sea and the main road outside, despite this it was very quiet at night and we were able to get a good sleep. Best western have done there best to provide modern amenities in an old building, so we had a/c large tv a bath and a walk in shower and also tea and coffee making. The bed was a king size and there were separate seating and dressing/wardrobe areas. The staff were pleasant and efficient and the breakfast was pretty good. Would definitely stay again.

We have been coming to this Hotel for about 15 years and in all that time we have never had cause to complain about anything. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The food is good, the breakfast in particular is excellent and always hot and fresh. The staff here are always on hand to help with anything and nothing is too much trouble. Katalin is great, she makes booking easy and always puts herself out to accommodate us when I chop and change dates for our visits and William and Darren are always welcoming with a smile and happy to take the time for a catch up chat regardless of how busy they are. Thank you for another great stay, see you all again soon. Shirley

We always come back as we feel safe and welcome here. Staff are all very professional and helpful. Very convenient location, beach front, pet friendly plus they have a pool.

Had a fantastic 3 days bed and breakfast, Room was lovely and clean, star on the desk was helpful and polite, breakfast was fantastic done by Rob and Pedro. Lovely and hot cooked to order, best I have had at any hotel home and and abroad so central to everything.

My friend and I had a lovely waterfront facing room. The facilities were very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to our friends.
