The Cavendish Hotel Eastbourne
"It was really good experience… the amenities are beyond the expectations …"
The View Hotel
"Highly recommend for a trip to the White Cliffs! The breakfast was delicious and the bed was super comfy. The hotel is conveniently located right across the street, to the right, from the shuttle bus that takes you to the circuit points. Plus, my balcony had a great view of the beach!"
Majestic Hotel Eastbourne by Belvilla
"Not what I expected"
Osborne Aparthotel
"It was great. The room has air conditioner👍 we would come back again."
The Chatsworth Hotel
"Lovely hotel in a great location, very near the bandstand and town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We always had a night cap in the bar before bed which was great. We also got a room upgrade to one with a partial sea view which was very nice to have. Parking was easy. You get given vouchers which we paid about £2 each per day for, and you can park on the surrounding streets. We were lucky and got just outside the hotel by the seafront. If in summer, you may want to get there in the evening when day trippers will have gone home. There's also the ncp car park near by if necessary. Bed was very comfy and bedroom was a good size with tea and coffee facilities. We didn't have any meals there so I can't comment on that. (I did notice on the menu that the vegan cooked breakfast consisted of vegetables but no meat substitute, which I thought was a bit poor for the price.) I'd certainly stay at this hotel again."
The Burlington Hotel
"The room is spacious and at a convenient location. It is not far from the train station. The hotel is facing the sea. I got a room with a very nice view. The interior is slightly old but quite clean. It was absolutely worth the money.Overall it was a great experience."
Best Western York House Hotel
"The hotel is conveniently situated between the town centre and sovereign harbour, easy walking distance to both. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There is free on street parking a very short distance away. We didn't eat here this time but have had breakfast on previous visits which have always been great. I would definitely recommend staying here."
East Beach Hotel
"Located only a few minutes walk from the pier, this hotel offers extremely good value for money. I’ve spent a couple of nights in one of its single rooms and I was impressed by the high standards of cleanliness as well as the quality of the bed. Considering what I have paid and the location, I can definitely say it is of the best hotels in the area."
The Grand Hotel
"A 5 star luxurious Victorian beachfront hotel with a view! The highlight is the sea view so close you could hear the waves crash on the beach. Easy parking, welcoming staff, chocolate Easter egg gifts, goodie bags for the children, sumptuous breakfasts with unusual treats like figs, honeycomb, smoked haddock, ! the incredible main hall with the fireplace to relax in!!! Worth every penny! Thank you"

Hydro Hotel
"The decoration is very feeling, there is an old small elevator, the scenery is very good, the room can see the sea, it is very convenient to drive to the seven sisters Baiya, that is, the hotel has no parking space, you can stop on the roadside"
Ebor Lodge
"The room was very comfortable and nice, but it was too far from the bus stop! It's also quite far to get to the Seven Sisters Rocks!"
The Halcyon
"Great service and ambience"
Da Vinci Eastbourne
"Overall, it was a really good experience. The staff were really nice, and the location was great. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning, and opening the window gets the bugs in. The walls weren’t soundproof either, so I was woken by the neighbours chatting and laughing at 4 am."
Port Hotel
"Nice hotel, location, and kind receptionist. However had a very very unpleasant experience with the booking manager as we had an issue with misleading/lack of information about a room we had booked. Turns out all the family rooms are in the dark lower basement. And apparently they normally email you after booking to tell you this, but we hadn’t received anything. I was told by the receptionist that to move to the upper floor room it would be an additional £45, and that she may be able to reduce that a bit. But after the hotel booking managed was called we were told it would be an additional £100. This took two hours on our arrival of having to sit in reception waiting to have phone calls with him to try and resolve. I was very rudely accused of just trying to get a free upgrade, total lack of understanding or customer care. This is not how anyone wants to spend their one night stay at a sunny seaside town! Not nice."
OYO Devonshire Park Hotel
"This is super family run family hotel. Lots of space to relax inside & out. Breakfast quality & choice very good. However service was extremely slow, approx 45 minute wait, only 2 helpful young friendly staff & the chef...i think most people were there as regulars for Eastbourne Tennis week, all chosing to eat later rather than later! I would totally fully recommend & go again."
Atlanta
"The whole experience was wonderful right through from arrival to departure. The room was very good standard, the breakfast was very good and it was apparent that nothing was too much trouble. We had room 9 which is 3rd floor with a great view out over the Channel, be aware though that there is no lift, still we are 65 plus and it did not interfere with our enjoyment."
New Wilmington Hotel
"Although there is an elevator, you still need to go up and down several stairs to reach the floor, like a maze. Please note that the family rooms are likely to be on both sides. If you bring large luggage, it will be really difficult to move up and down. You can park on the road and ask the front desk for a card to put in the car."
The Pier Hotel
"Alright for the price. Small rooms."
Citrus Hotel Eastbourne by Compass Hospitality
"Very friendly staff and a warm welcome, great location , thanks for having us !!"
The Lansdowne, Eastbourne
"we had to call 2 time during the night, our 21 month old small one was shevering since they have turn off the heater, then one of the store staff has provided us external heater,we have paid for all the facilities but seems like manager needs to cut down the cost by turning off the heater by their end to save money,,patetic to see something from a best hotel in the area......"
Pearl & Pebbles Eastbourne
"A Great Stay. I extended my time there after my initial booking. Amil, at reception, was polite and helpful and helped with all my requests. The room was one of the modernised ones and had nice bright decor with a very comfortable single bed and a very good bathroom with a Bath as well as a powerful shower. The hotel is in a perfect position - a walk to the town centre or the beach taking just minutes. I think that I booked for 1 or 2 days initially, but ended up staying for over a week, so that proves something. It was Excellent value as well - as a solo traveller I often stay in single rooms - but the Doubles/Twins didn't cost much more and I would have happily stayed in one of them if a single hadn't been available. If I had to pick negatives - No working Lift so that could be a problem for some and No Internet access - though I'm told the system is being upgraded. Again, not a problem for me. I'd certainly stay again and I intend to, soon. Well Done All."
Afton Hotel
"Environment: Good location"
The Cherry Tree B&B
"We arrived at the end of a long day's walk from Alfriston on the South Downs Way. What a sight! The front garden was filled with cherry blossoms - it looked like it had snowed. The welcoming feel just continued through our stay. Mel and Colin greeted us upon check-in. They were so helpful with the surroundings and Mel gave us some great recommendations for dinner. (We chose Rosetto's, in case you're looking for delicious Italian.) The room was snug and cozy on the top floor and the window allowed for nice cooling breezes. Breakfast was very good and there were many delicious choices. Our ride back to Heathrow wasn't coming until much later in the day, so we were allowed to leave our baggage and continue exploring Eastbourne. When we returned a bit early for our ride, we enjoyed the available snacks/drinks and had a wonderful chat with Mel. She's so friendly and knowledgable! This was one of our favorite stays during our SDW walk"
The New England
Imperial Hotel
"Been here last year so new what to expect Hotel reception and foyer nice and welcoming friendly and efficient staff on the reception desk we were in room 222 a twin bedded room which seemed to have been decorated recently and was very clean and the beds comfortable the toilet and shower were in a narrow room with the sink at the end of the shower compartment we had no problems using, couple of minor niggles the toilet seat was not on straight and could have done with a couple of hooks on the back of the door to hang your clothes and a towel on, the cleaner was wonderful and cheerful was did a good job The dining room was large bright and spacious the waiting team was efficient friendly helpful meals adequate with a good choice and plenty on your plate but we felt the quality had slipped from other years we been to this hotel but we still rate the best in the Daish group the entertainment was the same as all Daish hotels Quiz bingo and Artist every night nice atmosphere and we enjoyed our holiday. Every one of the staff was well trained and management very god"
