Room upgraded to a double can’t really fault anything maybe some minor updates as the place looks a tad dated.

Absolutely terrible. Booked through *********** who we were told by the hotel to contact for a refund, they have been as good as useless and won’t be using them again. Hotel wasn’t fit for opening. Checked in after waiting 2 hours after check in time. They told us they only just got the keys for the hotel the night before and it had been closed for over a year. Said we could get a drink in the bar which was closed and had dirty glasses hanging up. Eventually got to our room and literally walked straight back out. Bloody filthy disgusting room and facilities: Told the reception we couldn’t stay there and wanted a refund . Was told to contact booking .com and still waiting for our money back. Complete waste of a weekend away , had to drive home again .

no words to say..here are some photos..the room is absolutely dirty curtains, covering, walls and bathroom were super dirty.. the television didn't work and the ketle for the hot water was dirty and there were no cups, it made me want to vomit from such dirt.. the reception is super disorganized and has no common sense avoid avoid avoid please

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Staff were just brilliant and could not do enough for us. Room was nice and clean with tea and coffee making facilities and a great sea view!
Shower was not that powerful but other than that we enjoyed our visit.
We were even permitted to bring a takeaway and eat it in the bar! Staff also provided us with plates and cutlery how cool is that!!
We will be returning here again next time we visit Eastbourne for sure.

As person who's given up smoking, I find it odd when one complains about the smoking on your floor your on they upgrade you and leave the smoker(s ). Certainly can't complain about an upgrade. If a people were smoking in the bar you wouldn't move the non smokers. Strange but true.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Great value for money and the location was perfect for what we wanted. My only complaint would be it stated free parking which was the main reason for choosing this hotel, however the only parking was on the main street which was always very busy and spaces very limited and it was not free!
