The hotel is in a good location, less than 100 meters from the beach, more than 200 meters from the city center and pier, and a 20-minute walk from the train station. The breakfast is rich, with bacon, sausages, fried eggs, yogurt, fruits, etc.

It’s a simple no frills hotel. It had all that we needed, at an affordable price. The bar next door was very lively so if you are into love music it’s perfect to pop over or it might delay your sleep a bit. Lovely staff. Great location right by the pier.

We stayed in room 121 , spacious, no view but it was only a base , biggest issue noise above someone walking around early for hours, squeaky floor boards , hotel quiet, otherwise ..
We parked ok, can be awkward depends on time but we parked out on front both times, we moved car . Parking £2 , covered until 11am in morning , purchase another ticket so you can stay for day your leaving .
We purchased breakfast £7.50 each , basic buy adequate with toast , hot drinks , fruit , croissants and muffins .
Staff all very helpful and pleasant , budget hotel but adequate

Nice central place to be bout 10 min walk into town. Could do with more than 1 pillow on bed Bar wasn't open Some things in the room could do with replacing/redone example shower tray badly stained ceiling paint coming off. Lovely view of beach

From the outside it looks in need of a major repair however we booked a family room and was surprised. Room huge bed very comfortable and pillows fine. Bathroom ok but does the job. Buffet breakfast was ok( cheap sausages). Location great with lots of stuff to do close by. Parking on the front fine £2 a day(cheap) Overall a nice place to stay just to sleep but if I came back to Eastbourne I would stay elsewhere and pay a bit more

Shoreview is a beachfront hotel with many sea view rooms. Its lovely and affordable. The Breakfast buffet is great and coffee is good which is a bonus. The room was spotless. Bed is comfy. I think one of the best things is the staff are brilliant, very helpful . I like that some of the staff have been here years and are still engaged with their work and providing a good service. It has a bar which serves spirits, wines, bottled lagers and ruddles beer and cider so something for everyone. Beach is 10 metres across the road.

Great location for the pier, town and walking about. Great price for bank holiday and the size of the room . Great breakfast- good selection and friendly staff. - such good value for money for what we paid. Would definitely come back !!!!!!!!

Well situated hotel across from the beach. Staff very friendly. We were allowed to leave our case at the hotel before check in. Lovely large room, settee which looked as if it could have been a sofa bed, tables and large bathroom. We were given a easy access room with walk in shower. Buffet breakfast was good. Bread rolls were nice and warm. Convenient for bus to town centre and Hastings. Although evening meals were not available at the hotel, there is a pub just across the road which serves good food. Only downside is the condition of the property. Carpets, whilst clean were worn out. Would we stop here again? Probably.

We had stayed at this hotel before and were aware what facilities to expect. It is so often that people criticise and write awful things in their reviews. My review is to encourage people to stay at this hotel and to say good words about the hotel staff. The hotel is dated and would not provide facilities of a 5* ( which it isn’t anyway), but the location is excellent, the rooms were always clean, the breakfast is good and the staff are absolutely brilliant. My photos are posted for the attention of the hotel owners/managers, just to draw their attention that everything matters, they must be ways how to freshen up the looks of the rooms without a lot of investment. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big “Thank you for everything that you do”!
