Shore View Hotel

It’s a simple no frills hotel. It had all that we needed, at an affordable price. The bar next door was very lively so if you are into love music it’s perfect to pop over or it might delay your sleep a bit. Lovely staff. Great location right by the pier.

We stayed in room 121 , spacious, no view but it was only a base , biggest issue noise above someone walking around early for hours, squeaky floor boards , hotel quiet, otherwise .. We parked ok, can be awkward depends on time but we parked out on front both times, we moved car . Parking £2 , covered until 11am in morning , purchase another ticket so you can stay for day your leaving . We purchased breakfast £7.50 each , basic buy adequate with toast , hot drinks , fruit , croissants and muffins . Staff all very helpful and pleasant , budget hotel but adequate

Great location for the pier, town and walking about. Great price for bank holiday and the size of the room . Great breakfast- good selection and friendly staff. - such good value for money for what we paid. Would definitely come back !!!!!!!!

Well situated hotel across from the beach. Staff very friendly. We were allowed to leave our case at the hotel before check in. Lovely large room, settee which looked as if it could have been a sofa bed, tables and large bathroom. We were given a easy access room with walk in shower. Buffet breakfast was good. Bread rolls were nice and warm. Convenient for bus to town centre and Hastings. Although evening meals were not available at the hotel, there is a pub just across the road which serves good food. Only downside is the condition of the property. Carpets, whilst clean were worn out. Would we stop here again? Probably.

We had stayed at this hotel before and were aware what facilities to expect. It is so often that people criticise and write awful things in their reviews. My review is to encourage people to stay at this hotel and to say good words about the hotel staff. The hotel is dated and would not provide facilities of a 5* ( which it isn’t anyway), but the location is excellent, the rooms were always clean, the breakfast is good and the staff are absolutely brilliant. My photos are posted for the attention of the hotel owners/managers, just to draw their attention that everything matters, they must be ways how to freshen up the looks of the rooms without a lot of inves**ent. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big “Thank you for everything that you do”!

So, I paid for myself and my daughter to stay here for 2 nights as a birthday treat for her. We arrived early at 2pm and they was good in letting us check in early. However...when we got to the room, I noticed that there was some little marks on the wall next to the bed, my daughter went and sat on the sofa and told me to look down the side of it, when I looked, the wall looked as if it had dried sick all down it at the side of the sofa. I put the kettle on, but it didn't turn on, I had to hold the kettle down so it would boil. I went to reception to complain and they moved us rooms straight away. Got to the new room and the TV wouldn't work. People banging doors so loud, it sounded as if they were trying to get in our room. At this point, my daughter wanted to go home, so we got up and left after being in the hotel for only 4 hours. It absolutely stank around the hotel of damp and mold. We left and got the train home and I've made a complaint to ***********. what s waste of money. The only good thing, is the location.

Just want to write a glowing review for the staff in this hotel, we stayed 1 night, rooms were decent and the breakfast was great. Also my son left a bag which I will be honest we did not expect to get back (not because of the staff as the bag was left on top of the wardrobe and the room might of been let out after us) We contacted Pawel at the hotel and this person could not of been more helpful, not only was the bag retrieved but boxed labelled and handed for delivery to my house. A thousand thanks to Pawel. It's people like this that are priceless to a business. I will say all the staff were bright, polite and courteous.

Used Groupon and yes it's a little rough round the edges but for £59 we had a lovely room with amazing sea views, comfy bed, slept well and not noisy at all on the main road. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly. We found free parking nearby and was offered a permit for parking on arrival, would have been annoyed if we'd paid for parking. We will go again!
