Overall a great hotel in an amazing location. The staff were friendly and the room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I wanted. The shower knob was a bit confusing, but once I figure that out I had plenty of hot water.

An experience beyond expectation. The location of the hotel is great. It is on the Royal Mile, opposite St. Giles Church, 5 minutes walk to the castle gate, and 5-10 minutes walk from the train station. I felt like I was in the absolute center of Edinburgh. The room is quite spacious, the bathroom has a bathtub, and the view from the room is very beautiful. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, so some floors on the 1st and 2nd floors may feel underground, please be aware of this.

This hotel is located in Edinburgh's Old Town. There are many tourist spots nearby and it is very accessible. The hotel itself was very stylish and clean. The room was large and I was able to relax. The hotel employees were also very courteous and helpful. It is highly recommended as it is easily accessible and you can easily walk around town at night.

It's still a very good hotel, but now there are basically no toothbrushes, toothpaste and slippers in the UK. You need to bring your own. Everything else is very good. You can walk to the hotel for 5 minutes from the waverly station on the Royal Mile in the center of Edinburgh. The attitude of the staff Also great👍

Great location and overall the property was ok but the room itself only had one window in the bedroom which meant when the door was closed the lounge/kitchen/2nd sleeping area had no natural light. There were flies in the secondary glazing and the general finish of the room wasn’t high end. Overall though these are small details but they do mount up. However the location and service we very good

We had a lovely stay at Fraser Suites. Our room was well-apointed and clean, with the perfect kitchenette for our stay. The hotel seems to be in the middle of renovations so some areas off the beaten path (we used the guest laundry) weren't as polished, but we appreciated the care taken to update this conveniently-placed property. Be ready for the stairs to get there from the train station! :)

Construction made things interesting and louder than normal. The grinder pump noise was very loud every time water runs and toilet use.

Everyone was extremely polite, professional and friendly whether it was early in the morning or late at night. The location is amazing and so close to many key historical sites as well as shopping and great places to eat at. Would definitely stay there again!

Great! Excellent customer service! Easy access to many great sight seeing destinations. Would stayed here again and recommend it to friends and family! We are older and wished we had gone to the castle and other great attractions early in the morning. By the afternoon we had walked so much we were too tried to keep our afternoon appointment to go to the castle. Also we used taxis but within a few days we started finding buses that ran in the area. I recommend learning the bus schedule as it could save you considerable money. Every where we went the locals were so warm and friendly. We have been to 38 countries and Scotland would be at the top of our list. We look forward to going there again! We definitely recommend Fraser suites!

The stairs for senior citizens to climb up and down daily was the bad deal. The nice thing was close to the Royal Mile. The beds were very uncomfortable. Nice big bathroom and warm in the room.

Great location. Friendly service. Our towel radiator wasn't working. Asked them to look at it. They didn't do anything about it.

We stayed at Frazer Suites for a couple of nights for my partners birthday at the end of March. It’s a fantastic location for exploring Edinburgh, really nice decor in the lobby area and in the rooms, and the small kitchen area in the rooms was good too. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. We booked a deluxe room and found the room very small (much smaller than it looked on the photos) and our room was also really cold when we got there. We set the thermostat before we left to go out and upon our return to the room about midnight it was absolutely freezing resulting in little sleep - the thermostat was complicated to work, but even having set it right there was no heat. We spoke to reception about this in the morning and they sent a maintenance person who couldn’t fix it so they provided an oil heater for us instead, which whilst it provided some heat wasn’t ideal when spending long periods out of the room exploring the city as there was no temperature control. Equally the bathroom was still freezing cold. We complained about this as found it unacceptable, and they’ve simply offered a discount next time - not something we intend to ever use. Overall, whilst the location was great, due to our experience and the room size we personally wouldn’t stay here again - there are so many hotels in Edinburgh to choose from, especially for the cost of Frazer Suites, so would recommend to book somewhere else. It wasn’t the luxury for us that they describe.
