Tintswalo Safari

Truly a unique and very well run lodge. I will not hesitate to return and bring my adult kids. This is a destination location like no other and kudos to a superb staff and ownership.

It was a bucket list trip and Tintswalo Safari exceeded my expectations. It was the best family trip that we have ever experienced and they really made it beyond special for us. The staff, service and food were first class and I would highly recommend Tintswalo for any future safari trip.

Manyeleti is a great game reserve, so wild with divers natural environments where live huge herds of buffalos, elephants and so many lions. The sighting is impressive. Our guide was so professional with his tracker. Only 6 people max in the 4x4. Our stay at Tintswalo lodge was one of our best stay in Greater Kruger.

I wanted to share our amazing experience at Tintswalo Lodge. We had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The game guides were incredibly educated and experienced, ensuring we saw all the wildlife we came to see and more. The lodge itself is beautiful, and the cuisine was outstanding. We have done wildlife viewing trips in many places in the world but this was our first trip to Africa. All I can say is that we were overwhelmed. Tintswalo was our first stop and absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. We have never been so pampered in our life. The accommodations were excellent, the staff was attentive, the food outstanding, and the game drives were beyond our wildest dreams. From the time we arrived and were met by Tamsyn our Guest Experience Manager, Erik our Guide, and Pardon our Tracker we were overwhelmed by the Tintswalo experience. The accommodations were luxurious and comfortable, the food outstanding and plentiful, and the service was attentive and superb. Tamsyn was wonderful, and guided us with practical advice and ensured we had a great guest experience. We would like to give special recognition to our Guide, Erik, he is outstanding. He and Pardon were a great team and we were constantly amazed with Erik’s ability to find any animal we wanted to see. We were fortunate enough to not only view the Big Five, but the Magnificent Seven as well. To that we give all of the credit to Erik and his special ability as a Guide. We had so many unique, once in a lifetime experiences due to Erik’s unique ability such as an elephant standoff at a lion kill, tracking the three sister lions while they hunted, two different lion kills, three different lion prides, spotting white rhinos, finding two rare spotted wild dogs, spotting four different leopards including interrupting two while they were on a “date night”, and too many others to mention. We became very close to Erik and truly appreciated his wisdom, knowledge, and taking care of us. We highly recommend Tintswalo Safari. Thank you Alistar and Emily along with all the staff at Tintswalo, for an outstanding experience, we will definitely be returning.

Safari, lodging, food, staff were awesome! Why? Trackers and guides knowledgeable, informative and found many animals. All food, staff and lodging were wonderful. “All” staff tended to our individual needs and treated everyone like they were the only person there. All excursions were excellent. You could tell management had trained all staff well and had high expectations. Can’t go wrong with Tintswalo Safari!!

5 star rating simply is not accurate, this is a 6 star resort. The game drives are the ultimate adventure, big 5 daily & so many other animals, birds, vegetation. You are literally up close to the animals as they feed their young, visit watering holes, eat their capture, protect their herds, wander through the bush & simply enjoy the true Circle of Life. The food & service, pampering, gorgeous villas, superb guides & trackers, attention to detail is extraordinary. No request is turned down, Tintswalo Safari will make magic & your dreams come true.

This is my 13th trip to the Krueger area and my first visit to the Manyeleti. The staff, game drive and accommodations made this one of my most memorable trips! The eco-diversity of the Manyeleti is stunning! Before your day starts your treated to a hot cup of tea and then your off to see the incredible game viewing. I hope you love to eat, because they live to feed! Delicious food at every turn and the most lovely staff to wait on your every need…spoiled! If your visiting the area, the Manyeleti is a must and there is only ONE place to stay when you get there: Tintswalo!
