Rissington Inn ★★★
"Beautiful, expansive location and lovely accommodations. It's like an apartment, but without a kitchen. There is a refrigerator and coffee and tea facilities. The staff is super friendly, and the kitchen is truly fantastic! Highly recommended!"
Pestana Kruger Lodge ★★★★
"I called to make a booking for one night as it was late. The guy I spoke to told me there was a room available, however, I would have to make a booking reservation via email. I sent the email and got no response. If you don’t want people making bookings, rather say so instead of giving us false hope, especially at night. Sies!! It’s been a few days and the email still hasn’t been responded to."
Kruger Shalati - Train on the Bridge & Garden Suites ★★★★
"The environment was great, and the service was incredibly welcoming. The daily game drive satisfied my safari needs in Kruger. The all-inclusive meals and unlimited drinks every day were fantastic, making for a very comfortable experience!"
The Capital Mbombela ★★★★
"Everything was exceptional. We had car issues and ended up booking there. The security was so kind and assisted us when needed, hotel staff were kind and assistive, so were the restaurant staff. The hotel was clean and the aura gave “homely “ It’s also so convenient because it’s right next to the mall and shuttle services. Will definitely be visiting again ❤️"
Angels View Hotel ★★★★
"Stayed for one night. No breakfast as we left very early for the airport. Hospital oh stylish room, comfortable mattresses and pillows. Dinner at the hotel restaurant - beyond all praise!"
Doringpoort Lodge ★★★★
"The guy who welcomed us was kind, but unfortunately I have to say that the place is absolutely not as well-kept as you see in the photos... Those photos they uploaded are certainly from a few years ago because now it is very unkempt both outside and inside.... Then the road to get there is a disaster, and even if you manage to get to Merlot Park slowly, there are still plenty of other lodges.... In short, it's not that I don't recommend it, but maybe I would first look carefully at other options."
Road Lodge Mbombela ★
"Ok experience"
Kruger Afrique Lodge
"Excellent service in a beautiful lodge. The rooms are tasteful, tidy, and clean. Quality bedding and furniture. Would highly recommend it. Wildlife and location are beautiful, right on the banks of the Crocodile River."
Kruger Park Lodge ★★★★
"This is one of the best maintained places we have visited in SA. There is no false advertising on what is advertised. The restaurant, food, pool, and recreational activities is really of excellent standard. Great value for your money. We will return again and again."

Summerfields Rose Retreat and Spa
"We stayed at Summerfields during our time visiting Kruger Park. Located in an orchand of macadamia and lichi, the retreat is really discreet and quiet. We stayed in the Stonehouse, a big villa on the top of the hill, close to the entrance into the retreat and 1.5 km from the reception and restaurant. For the dinner, due to the fact that the restaurant is just on the shore of the river and after sunset the hipos are going out of tge river into the orchand to eat grass, the personnel did not allowed ilus to walk from and to the villa so each time we had dinner they gave us a car ride to and from reception. Dinners at restaurant were just fine - few dishes but very well cooked. Stonehouse was huge with 3 bedrooms, a large living with full kitchen, huge beautiful terasse. The only downsize is that the entire house is rather dated - during our stay it rained a lot, inclusing in the house in some places so they came and put various buckets to collect the rain drops. Other than that, all was just fine. A big thank you to the entire personnel."
Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge
"The resort is one of the oldest but with a very established area within Kruger. Guides are very experienced and in only 3 days we saw the big 5 plus so much more. Staff are incredibly helpful and the food is excellent. The lodge and rooms are spacious and wonderfully apportioned."
Loerie's Call Guesthouse
"10/10 Lodge to sleep in. The place is just stunning. Cleanliness, how modern the rooms are and how friendly and helpful the staff are, It is my now go to place in Nelspruit."
Nut Grove Boutique Hotel
"Super location. Beautiful surroundings. Amazing attention to detail. A little night lamp was in the room so we could see where we going. Staff are the best. The barman, Decent was helpful, attentive and funny. Matilda had everything organised for us. Such a friendly relaxed stay. Highly recommend. Xxx"
Kruger View Chalets
"I was not prepared to walk into such a well prepared, clean and organized room, especially for the price. It's clear that Kruger View Chalets understands the concept of hospitality and take pride in it. Well done. "
Mercure Nelspruit Hotel
"Reception staff were inattentive and focused solely on answering phones. The rooms were dark, outdated, and in poor condition: a broken bedside lamp, gray bathroom towels, only one bedside table, repulsive carpeting, a malfunctioning lock requiring repair, etc. etc. A terrible stay after 8 days in the bush. Certainly not up to the standard of traditional Mercure hotels!"
Graskop Hotel
"Great location within walking distance of everything you need. I was traveling with my 2 year old son and felt very safe. We booked the double room and was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and offered to pack my son and I breakfast to go when we missed the breakfast buffet. Will book again if I am in Graskop."
Kruger Park Hostel
"We kept on extending our stay at the Kruger Park Hostel, as we loved the place, that had everything you need (+ some extras like Yogamats, E-/& Bikes, Tea/Coffeebar, Pooltable…). The atmosphere and the staff-culture was very welcoming, including, helpful and fun. And of course… so many beautiful animals around day and night!"
Sanbonani Hotel
"Don’t be fooled by the lovely photos on the website when you are looking at this place. Unfortunately I made the booking based on that. The one star is only because the grounds and gardens are well taken care of. We stayed in the self catering units (49 B) - River view. Of course many years ago you might have been able to see the River but not anymore. The reception staff is the rudest I have ever encountered! The pool was full of algae, bedding and towels definately not washed (disgusting brown marks on towels), lumpy terrible duvet, toaster that kept tripping the electricity, patio railings were painted with a very strong smelling tar - which prevented us sitting outside on patio, in very humid, hot conditions - air conditioning remotes not working, dripping air conditioner that dripped on my iPad laying on bedside table, and then worst of all - 12 hours from 24 - ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRICITY!!! Not even Wi-Fi signal. As international travelers we absolutely rely on Wi-Fi. Candles are provided - but not even a candle holder. We booked and paid for a 7 night stay - but left after 3 nights (wanted to leave after the first night but was having difficulty in obtaining other suitable accommodation. So - to conclude: if you want a stressful, terrible holiday - this place is for you!"
Rio Vista Lodge
"I had an absolutely amazing time at Rio Vista Lodge. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with great decor and nice to sleep on foam matrasses, with variety of firmness for body types spine support, and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious. with huge variety of options! The staff was attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we are comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, apart from the HOT SUN/humidity of Mpumalanga. Other than that i can't fault the place and will definitely come back. How can i not mention the view from the Deck phasing Kruger National Park view, with a nice blooming huge blue swimming pool and mouth-watering Windhoek drought, served extremely cold to chill and quench your thirst."
Premier Hotel the Winkler
"Here's the translation: Bad experience. The hotel managers have no respect for their customers. At the time of booking, they did not inform us that they had areas under renovation. At 8 p.m., I was called twice to make the payment even though they could have waited until check-out. I think managers were afraid I would jump over the electric fence at night to escape payment. Room service was okay. Good location. Average room size. Good bed. Overated hotel. we won't come back"
La Villa Vita
"Staff is amazing, rooms are spacious, food was good although breakfast menu is a bit limited, service was great! "
AtNature Luxury Self Catering Cottages
Beetleloop Guest House
"We enjoyed our stay at Beetleloop guest house very much. The gues thouse is in a very quiet area next to a reserve. The host and her husband welcomed us and assisted us with our luggage. The room was very comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed. Access was also very easy. I would highly recommend Bdeetleloop guest house."
Ashbourne Country Escape Hazyview
"It was brilliant to get back to the Lowveld. Ashbourne never lets us down. Rob ,Dawne and there new manager look after all our needs.there suppers are michelin star. It's with a heavy heart that we had too leave. But my batteries are full charged and can't wait to plan our next trip to Ashbourne."
White House Lodge
"We stayed two nights and because of self-catering brought dinner (and charcoals) with us. We were able to use the property‘s grill and sit outside on the beautiful veranda. Susann made always dishes etc. available. Wide choice of beers and wines for self-service. Breakfast excellent."
